Chasing Back My Ex-wife

Chapter 15

Chapter 15

Early the next morning.

When Lucy saw the Bentley outside, she narrowed her eyes, turned around, and wanted to walk away.

However, it was too late. Arthur already rushed up to her and grabbed her arm. "Lucy, how dare you avoid me?!"

He ground out every word.

"I already made myself very clear yesterday. We have nothing to do with each other!" He was gripping her very hard, and Lucy bore with the pain as cold sweat broke out over her forehead.

Thank goodness she had asked Kylah to take Caden away. Otherwise, it would all be over if he saw Caden!

"Lucy Morgan!" Her repeated rejection towards him had stretched his patience out very thin. "If you don't want Kylah's family's company to shut down, you'd better listen to me obediently!"

He wanted to talk to her in a civil manner, but she just wouldn't give him the chance!

"!"

In the end, Lucy got into his car. After being husband and wife for three years, she knew that he never lied!

She was angry about him threatening her, but she had no choice but to listen to him.

In the car, Lucy sat far away from him, sticking against the window.

In the car, Lucy sat far away from him, sticking against the window.

Seeing her disgust towards him, Arthur felt hurt. He looked at her icily and said, "Come here!"

Lucy pursed her lips, but she ended up moving a little closer towards him reluctantly. Even so, they were still very far apart.

"Arthur...Johnson, don't mess around." She was so nervous that she got tongue-tied.

However, just as the atmosphere was so tense, her stomach growled.

Feeling embarrassed, she sucked in her stomach to stop it from making any more noise. ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

Arthur glanced at her and coldly gave the driver an address.

The car stopped outside a restaurant. When Lucy saw the familiar sign, she felt a mix of emotions.

In the past, she had loved going to that restaurant the most and had also thought of bringing him one day. However, he had never given her the opportunity.

"I've already bought this restaurant you like. The taste of the food hasn't changed over these five years." Arthur stood beside her and glanced down at her face that looked just as it had five years ago. He could never get tired of looking at it.

"Oh? What a real pity. The taste of their food hasn't changed, but my preference has changed in these five years." Lucy looked at him frigidly.

If he had done the same thing five years ago, she would have been so touched that she couldn't fall asleep. But now...she only felt disgusted!

When she had loved him, he had behaved as though meeting her was torture. Why was he pretending to be romantic?

Arthur frowned slightly, unused to acting gentle and caring. "Then what would you like to eat?"

"As long as you're with me, I won't eat anything!" Lucy tucked her fringe behind her ear and smirked. "Arthur, if you feel guilty, then stay away from me. I'll get by very well if you do that!"

It had already been five years. She and Caden had led a great life without him.

The good-looking couple arguing in front of the restaurant attracted many curious gazes. However, because of Arthur's intimidating aura, no one dared to stare at them openly, so they only spied from afar.
