What Separates Me and You

Chapter 309

Chapter 309 Can I Have a Go?

Josephine was still looking for Lewis.

However, Kiran grabbed her and got her to change into a weird outfit-a wooly short-sleeved cropped top, a pair of wooly white shorts, and a cap with rabbit ears.

Josephine looked into the mirror and felt like she had transformed into a rabbit.

“Let’s go.” Kiran pulled her along, taking the lead as they made their way out.

The cruise ship had already started moving, gliding slowly on the ocean surface toward the horizon.

Josephine followed Kiran through the crowd and corridors. They went up two floors to the topmost floor.

Guards stood sentinel, blocking Kiran and Josephine’s way as they approached.

Kiran pulled out a black card. The guard saw it and let him pass.

Josephine followed him upstairs with her head in the clouds.

The vibe on this floor was entirely different.

It wasn’t as sparkling as the level they were on; instead, it was dim and glum here.

The guests here wore all sorts of strange outfits. A random man who passed them by in a black. leather jacket had a tattoo spanning half of his face. He looked exceptionally daunting against the dim lighting.

Frightened, Josephine hugged Kiran’s arm.

Kiran calmly led her forward until they reached the hall in the middle.

Wisps of smoke enshrouded them as soon as they stepped in. Josephine felt nauseous from the mixture of various perfume scents entwined with smoke.

The hall comprised several tables where the crowd was. They were making bets, shaking the dice, or dancing.

There was also a bartender.

Josephine had seen similar scenes on the television before; they were probably in a casino.

Kiran led her past the gambling area to a booth in the corner.

“You’re here, President Kiran.”

A few people had taken their seats. The man in the lead was a beefy, muscular guy with a scar on his face, Draco Godfrey. He greeted Kiran smilingly with a cigar between his fingers.

Kiran straightened out his suit before taking his seat. “Why choose here, of all places?”

Draco laughed. “It’s good enough, isn’t it? It has everything we need.” As he spoke, Draco glanced at Josephine. “Why did you bring this young lady here? Is she your girlfriend?”

Kiran picked up a glass on the table. “She’s someone else’s.”

“Oh?” Draco smiled lustfully. “Could it be that you brought her for us?”

Kiran shot him a glance. “You can take her if you aren’t afraid to die.”

His words provoked Draco. Draco took a long puff on his cigar and thrust it into the ashtray.” Hah! There’s only one thing 1, Draco Godfrey, am not afraid of-and that’s death! C’mere, missy!”

Seeing his ferocious appearance, Josephine naturally refused. She curled up beside Kiran and tightly clutched his sleeve.

Draco saw that and laughed. “Look at her! You can’t believe anything that comes out of Kiran’s mouth. Look how intimate she is to him! Someone else’s girlfriend, my ass.”

Everyone else laughed.

Draco felt his mouth grow dry as his gaze fell on Josephine, who looked as though a slap would send her flying. He asked Kiran, “President Kiran, are you willing to share?”

Kiran answered, “I told you, you can take her.”

“For real?”

“Why don’t you try?”

Draco immediately signaled to his subordinate, who walked toward Josephine right away. He grabbed her arm and dragged her along.

Josephine held on to Kiran’s arm, refusing to let go. She shook her head desperately.

Kiran was unfeeling.

Draco’s subordinate peeled off her fingers and lifted her with ease. Stumbling, he dragged her to Draco, shoved her on the sofa, and her cap

fell.

Josephine instantly sprung up and attempted to flee, but Draco hugged her around the waist, pulled her toward him, and forced her to sit on his thighs.

He reeked of cigar smoke and the stench of sweat. Josephine got a whiff of his odor, and her stomach was in tumult.

Draco saw her reddened eyes. However, she didn’t utter a sound. He sensed something off and asked, “A mute?”

Kiran drank his wine impassively. “Isn’t that obvious?”

Draco sized Josephine up with interest. Her struggles were negligent. In fact, the more she struggled, the more she resembled a wild kitten a mute untamed kitten.

Draco grasped her chin. Her face was the definition of “palm-sized” under comparison; Draco could easily suffocate her with one hand.

Josephine looked just like a kitten sitting on the lap of a lion.

“Draco, don’t wreck her.”

Draco guffawed. He swiveled Josephine around on his lap and slapped her bottom. There was a loud smack.

Josephine bit her lip, tears rolling down her cheeks out of pain.

“She’s really a mute!” Draco was incredulous. He pinched the flesh on her bottom.

He wasn’t gentle. He exerted three-quarters of his force, and Josephine couldn’t resist crying out in pain.

Her voice was soft and came with a sob, but it was enough to tempt Draco.

He was satisfied. “There you go. You can speak.”

He flipped her around again. Josephine was like a toy in his hands, subject to his whims.

Draco pinched her cheeks with his humongous hands and requested, “Lil’ missy, join me for a drink.”

As he spoke, he picked up a glass of wine from the table for Josephine.

Teary-eyed, Josephine shook her head. She wouldn’t drink.

Draco couldn’t be bothered. He forced the wine into her mouth, holding her face in a steadfast grip.

Josephine could only grit her teeth.

Draco was used to such behavior. He increased the force of his fingers, and Josephine’s jaws relaxed due to pain.

Draco swiftly emptied the strong liquor into her mouth. Josephine coughed and spluttered.

Most of the liquor spilled out her mouth and streamed down her chin, neck, and beneath her shirt.

After forcing the entire glass on her, wine spilled all over Josephine’s face. Even her hair was

wet.

Draco grew more aroused. He grabbed a bottle of wine and stuffed it in her face, emptying its

content into her mouth.

Josephine flailed about with all limbs, but Draco needed only an arm to stop her arms and legs.

Josephine used all her effort to cast a pleading glance at Kiran.

Wasn’t he bringing her to Lewis?

Why did he lie to her?

To think she trusted him…

Kiran didn’t even look her way. He drank and chatted with the person sitting across from him. without caring about her.

The man he spoke to reminded him kindly. “Your girlfriend seemed to be asking you for help.”

Kiran tilted his head and met Josephine’s disappointed and pleading gaze.

But he merely glanced at her before withdrawing his gaze and correcting the man, “I told you, she belongs to someone else.”

That man laughed. “Alright. Then, if she’s still alive after Draco is done with her, can I have a go?”

“If that’s what you wish.”

After downing the entire bottle, Josephine had no remaining energy to continue struggling. Her arms drooped limply by her side as she lay on Draco’s lap, her eyes losing focus.

Seeing her in this state, Draco let out booming laughter. He hurled the glass bottle aside and threw Josephine onto the sofa. Standing, he started unbuckling his belt.

It wasn’t a rare sight for guests to publicly partake in such “activities” here. After all, the waiters and waitresses around them were naked too.

Draco held Josephine by the waist and was about to get it on when the cruise ship swayed several times.

The swaying wasn’t subtle. Draco jerked side to side. He could only release Josephine and quickly take his seat.

The others in the hall weren’t any better. They swayed and stumbled. Bottles and glasses shattered against the floor.

“What’s wrong?”

“Let’s take a look!”

Everyone was shocked. They first thought the cruise ship had collided with something on the

ocean.

However, the cruise ship stopped swaying after a while. It became still, and everything

returned to normal.

Kiran’s eyes flickered. After the cruise ship stayed still, he rose and headed for the deck.
