Chapter 14 No
Chapter 14 No
Trying to resist disgust, Mia dumped the garbage into the trash can, thinking about what happened
these days and wiping tears.
Before, even in the face of difficulties, she would never shed tears, because she believed in saying
“After every storm, there is a rainbow.” She thought that when she grew up, she would be free to
control her destiny and would have her blooming spring.
However, before she could go out into the world, her father ruthlessly broke her wings and threw her
into the colder and darker abyss. The tears kept falling. There were more tears these days than she'd
ever shed in the first half of her life.
Sobbing, she finished cleaning the room and suddenly heard a sound. Looking all around, she found
her phone that was still charging on the old desk in the small room.
Seeing the familiar number, it took her a long time to calm down and find a courage to answer.
“Hey, Mia, what happened to you? You don't answer the phone and don’t go out. What have you been
doing all this month? Don't even want to work in Huntington Hospital anymore. Maybe, you’ve married
a rich dude, huh?” Brooke Miller, good friend, was concerned and teased with curiosity. She didn’t
know what happened to Mia and said all this without a second thought.
Hearing that the sugar daddy made her his wife, Mia couldn’t hold it anymore. She started crying and
couldn’t d say a word.
“Mia…”
In the park, sitting on the small bench, Brooke was listening to Mia’s story with her eyes wide open.
When Mia finished, she opened her mouth from shock and said, “And in this situation he’s still your
father? Mia, you were illegally detained. You have to call the police!”
Brooke was very nervous. She started pushing Mia, trying to make her go to the police right now. Mia
desperately pulled her hand back, wiping tears and snot all over the face. Although she was
embarrassed, she looked very poor and fragile. She shook her head and closed her eyes sadly, "No, it
will hurt my dad..."
"You!" Brooke let her go in frustration, but in the same moment hugged her. There were tears in her
eyes.
The sleek black Maserati was gliding noiselessly across the black asphalt. Like driving speedy BMW.
The car always reflects the man sitting inside.
William flicked his fingers, working on his laptop. Sharp as a knife eyes couldn’t miss a thing.
While working, he made couple of calls, giving someone instructions.
His face was as cold and handsome as ever, his long sword eyebrows stretched sharply, and when he
wrinkled, his charm was evil. He had two beautiful eyes, and his black pupils were like two waterfalls,
so mysterious and deep that no one could see what’s hidden inside. The strong brows and thin lips, no
matter if he was smiling or not, were devilishly beautiful.
He pressed the enter hard - the work was over. William closed the notebook and stretched his body on
the seat.
Jennifer Parker, the assistant, who was sitting in front, glanced at him holding the phone, and then said,
“Boss, it’s Doctor Davies. He called to tell you about Mrs. Brown’s condition.”
His eyes lit up suddenly. He almost grabbed the phone and put it to the ear, shouting, "How’s Sophia?”
"The situation is not very optimistic. She doesn’t take her medicine on time, yes? Instead of taking the
situation under control, now she’s getting worse. If it goes on like this, her condition will deteriorateNôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
