Chapter 19: First Love
Chapter 19: First Love
(Sindra's P.O.V)
Dear Diary:
I could get lost in Derek's sky blue eyes, I can't believe he's mine all mine and I didn't have to use any
magic.
His lips are enticing, pink and so soft. He kisses like the fairy that he is, his hugs feel like a dream and
he is the definition of perfection. From his golden locks to his permanent rosy cheeks and from the way
my ears lock into his long pointy ears whenever we hug.
I looked at him as I put on my school skirt. He remained laying in the bed for a bit, I don't really like Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.
making love in Mrs Greene's house, Paul's mother. Paul is very scary and even though his mother isn't
like him maybe she could be a little like that. After all, he is scary because he's a werewolf and must
have inherited it from his werewolf parents. For now, Derek lives here, when Mrs Greene heard that he
sleeps in the woods she convinced him to stay with them for a while since he doesn't want to stay here
permanently. So he's staying here for a while as he is preparing his original home to make more
acceptable. That's the only condition Mrs Greene will allow him to live in the woods again.
He watched me put my blue gem tiara on my head. He knows that I'm a witch, he caught me watering
flowers using my hands and not to make me nervous about my secret being exposed, he confessed
then and there that he's a water fairy. We're practically made for each other.
I walked up to him and gave him one last kiss on his forehead before I opened the portal up and left to
Meledsan. Our school day starts with lunch and so I went into the cafeteria and stood that long line. My
eyes were looking for a place to sit, any place. Bethany or Margot, anyone will do. I saw Margot. She
already had a seat and waved frantically at me. I nodded my head and walked up to her.
"Hey," we greeted together.
Margot and I have been friends for as long as I've been attending school here, in other words just as
long as I have known Bethany for, and she's just as popular.
She had a naughty grin on her face that raised my curiosity. I sat down and unwrapped my cheese
sandwich. "What is it, Margot?"
She giggled. "No 'hi', first?"
I rolled my eyes and took a bite, "hey Margot, how are you?"
She grinned. "Hey, Sindra. I'm doing just fine. A handsome stranger asked for you,"
I twisted the water bottle open and took my first sip and looked at Margot. What could she be talking
about? "Who?"
She shrugged. "His name is Jared, he's new here,"
I nodded my head and took another bite from my grilled cheese sandwich. "Maybe he's a fan,"
She nodded her head. "Yeah. I think you should ask him out on a date,"
I chuckled. I was surprised that she's still on this. "Margot, you know I'm dating Derek,"
She groaned and took a sip from her water. "He's not like us, Sindra, he's worse than us. He's a fairy.
They're weak, you need someone strong by your side,"
I hate when she throws these words. She sounds like my parents, they all want me to date a witch
because that's how it is traditionally. I sighed and looked at her digging into her salad with her fork.
"Don't go there. You're a lesbian you should've been very supportive of my relationship,"
She laughed and rolled her eyes. "This isn't the same thing. Fairies are NOT even right. They're weird
and icky and dating one is wrong,"
I folded my arms. Bethany sat down next to us with her tray, like usual, she was with Marisa who
Margot and I got to know well by now. She read the tension, she looked at me and then at Margot. She
frowned and held my arm.
"Fuck Margot. I think you and Derek are the cutest thing ever,"
I looked at Bethany and gave her a small smile. I am thankful for my friend and love that she always
knows what to say to cheer me up.
"Yeah," added Marisa, "isn't she gay? That's not even normal, you should at least go on one date with
a guy. I know lots of those,"
Margot raised her eyebrows, "yeah... I don't want too,"
Marisa flashed her a warm smile. "You don't know what you're missing,"
Margot muttered something that we couldn't hear and continued eating her salad. It's no secret that she
doesn't like Marisa, I feel like I don't know much of Marisa to judge her right away. But her response to
Marisa as a whole got me wondering if she likes Bethany? I would hate it if my friends didn't like each
other. Bethany started a topic about the other three elemental witches, she seems to be nervous about
meeting them. Maybe she's afraid that once we all know each other we can't get along and that will
mess up a beautiful working space. I'm nervous about that too. What if we don't like the others? We're
partners and will be paired until the day we bore our first daughters. And even then we ought to stick
together.
Once I finished my sandwich I asked Margot where this lad said he'd be so I wiped my mouth and
walked over to Mr Winston's office. That's where I'll find him. I knocked on the door and waited on Mr
Winston to call me in. I entered his office wearing a bright smile. I hate the principal's offices, makes me
feel like a bad girl. I saw a tall guy pouring coffee out into Mr Winston's mug and automatically
assumed that it was him. He wasn't facing me so I couldn't see much, just that he is tall and slender.
His brown curly hair hung on his shoulders. He wore a black cape with glittery golden stars on them
that sparkled when the robe moved.
"Sindra... how are you?"
The mention of my name had him turn around. His small pink lips let out a huge smile, his blue eyes
pierced into mine. He walked over to Mr Winston and gave him his coffee, his eyes remaining on mine.
He smiled, I didn't but I did forget how to breathe for a second there and had to remind myself.
"I'm fine.... Mr Winston, and yourself?"
Mr Winston chuckled and looked over at the boy. "No complaints. I have a little helper, Jared. A transfer
student from Tah-bani, also one of the youngest wizard,"
I snickered and shook my head. I was honestly impressed. I've never seen a wizard before and now
here's one right in front of me and he's so dreamy. He has a soft face, no strong jawline, no
cheekbones just rosy cheeks and his big dark blue eyes and bushy eyebrows.
Mr Winston looked at Jared, "Sindra. Our elemental water princess,"
He nodded his head and bit his lower lip. "Yeah. I've heard about her,"
Mr Winston turned to face me. "What may I help you with?"
"Jared asked for me,"
Mr Winston was acting weird. He looked at me with a big smile plastered on his face and then at Jared.
He pouted and raised his eyebrow. I've never seen him act so humanlike before. As the headmaster of
all dark witches, I was expecting someone more stone-cold and expressionless like my friend back on
earth. Jason. "Well," Mr Winston told, "he's all yours,"
Jared patted Mr Winston on the shoulder and proceeded to make his way over to me, I made my out of
his office and walked pass the secretary whose office is outside the doors of the headmistress and
master. Right behind a giant window.
We stopped and he looked at me. He didn't drop his precious smile once, his eyes were wide open. I
didn't mind him acting so weird, it killed me to say it's because he's so adorable.
"So," I broke out silence. Otherwise, he would stare at me forever. "Are you a good wizard or an evil
one?"
He chuckled. It sounded like a baby's laugh. He was cute. I couldn't keep my eyes off from him.
"Depends... which are you into?"
I couldn't help but giggle and look at the floor. My cheeks burned, I tucked my blonde hair behind my
ear and looked up into his mesmerizing eyes. Take me away you perfect dots of blue.
"Aww," he said cubbing my face and stroking my cheek with his thumb, "you're blushing,"
I couldn't contain my laugh. He was right. My face was burning. I was blushing but so was he, we were
in an endless loop of giggles. I don't know him but already I'm comfortable with him. He has this energy
that instantly calmed me and drew me into him.
"Shouldn't you be asking your girlfriend which type of wizard she prefers?"
He grinned and shrugged. "Not sure I want one of those. You are my soul mate after all and you're all
I'll ever need and want, and what say you?"
