The Untouchable Ex-Wife



"Watch me!" the guard said fiercely.

He walked to the table and placed a basin filled with hot water on it. Then, he grabbed a sheet of white paper and drenched it with water. He then put it on Leia's face.

"Mmph!" Leia's face was fully covered, her mouth and nose blocked. She couldn't make a sound or breathe properly. Her face flushed from the suffocation, and she was in great pain.

"Let go of her now!" Renee screamed, anxious and restless. Though handcuffed, she rushed toward Leia and tried her best to remove the paper from Leia's face.Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

Suffocating for five to ten minutes could kill. If Renee didn't stop them and let them have their way with Leia, she might die!

However, Renee slipped and fell. She tried to get up, but failed due to her handcuffed limbs restricting her movement.

"Mm, mm!"

Leia struggled violently at first, but she slowly stopped moving as though she was dying.

At the critical moment, Renee finally got up and hurriedly yanked the paper off Leia's face.

"Whew!" When Leia finally got to breathe, she opened her eyes and took deep breaths. She still couldn't see properly.

"Lei! Lei, are you alright?" Renee asked anxiously, her eyes red.

"I'm fine," Leia gasped, her eyes rolling upwards.

After Renee had repeatedly called her name, she regained her wits. However, she was vastly different than her previous self. She looked timid and was trembling all over, no longer arrogant or fierce.

'I'm glad." Renee, relieved, sighed deeply. "I'm sure the punishment is over."

"Over?" Lucas stared at her, and chuckled. "Didn't I tell you? You need to perform the punishment to test your loyalty to the company. It's not over yet!"

"What else should I do before you're satisfied?" Renee snapped.

She lost her patience to stall for time and went straight to the point.

"You caught us because you want us to make you money. I know that all you want is money. Name your price! I'll have my company's finance department bank in the money to you."

"Yeah, I want money, but I can differentiate between a one-time deal and a long-term deal." Lucas exhaled a smoke ring and licked his lips. "You want your company to bank in the money to me. Then, they'll know my address. Plus, you guys are big shots who can't be offended. What if you turn against us and wipe us out? Do you take me as a moron?"
