Chapter 33
Chapter 33
The last thing you want to have happen to you is to be woken up when your in a deep sleep- but what's even worse, is someone waking you up from a deep sleep, by chucking a gun at you.
I was dreaming about those "Zoopals" paper plates that are shaped like animals, and that dumb ass song that they sing in those god awful commercials.
When all of a sudden something smashes the bed post next to me, my eyes shot open and I flung up with a rush of frightened adrenaline.
"What the fuck?" I yelled as I saw a bored looking Slayer.
His blonde hair slick and shiny, his pasty skin reflected the bright light from outside.
"What?" He scowled at me, almost as if I was the one whom had thrown a fucking gun at him.
I sat up, and grabbed the gun from the side of the bed, it was a Smith and Wesson Model 27 Magnum With a .357 caliber magnum.
I frowned at the heavy duty and clearly mafia used gun. When we were in class training at the CIA we spent half of the time
Training in classrooms on how to identify mafia guns that certain unidentified mafia members would use.
"What's this for?" I asked holding it up.
He shrugged, I noticed that he was dressed in all black, wearing a tight black shirt, and looking like he was about to go out somewhere.
"Sin told me to get it for you."
Sin. Even his fucking name seemed to turn me on, and I sounded like a 14 year old freshman, rather than a 19 year old who's practically a criminal.
"Oh." Was all I said.
He took the time to look at me this time, an almost smile formed on his lips, "you two have fun last night?"
I gave him a confused look, but then remembered how it looked; I'm in bed, fully dressed, having probably sex hair, and smeared makeup.
I pulled the sheets over myself, and cleared my throat, "none of...that happened."
He shrugged, "not that I care. But just know that you being who you are and how close your getting with Sin, might be okay with him and Xavier, but it's not with me. Until you swear in to omertà, your not one of us, contrary to what they think..." His eyes stabbed mine, they were pale, and almost intimidating, "I still consider you, an enemy."
I nodded, I assumed that he would feel this way, I mean I didn't exactly blame him, a couple months ago I was in the CIA, bred and trained to take down people.
I hated the CIA, the only reason I had joined was to take down the people that killed my family, but we never found them.
We were quiet for awhile. Slayer seemed to be caught up in his own little world.
"What if I swear to omertà?" I asked out of the blue, I mean I had been thinking about that lately, i wasn't in the CIA, and if I was burned, then they had nothing on me.
His eyebrows shot up, and he actually seemed to show all of his emotions, which at the time was only one; suprise.
He cleared his throat, "well um. That's a big deal. Are you sure?"
I breathed out, my fear of him not wanting me to be sworn in at all was gone, instead he just didn't trust me now because I hadn't been sworn in yet.
I nodded firmly, I wasn't 100% sure but YOLO and who the fuck cares? Also who am I going to tell? The CIA? I'll be like 'oh hey remember me? Grey Aleksei Dante Ravenwood your star burned agent, who is about to be sworn to omertà by the Russian mafia, thanks for all that training to make me a killing machine! Kill ya later!'
Yeah. No.
"Well okay...you do know what omertà is right?"
I scowled at him, "yes of course I know what it is."
Omertà : the code of silence in the Mafia, the failure to comply with the oath differs in mafias, but usually ends up in death. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.
He shifted awkwardly on his feet, "well we better tell Sin."
I breathed out, right. Sin would be happy right? I mean me swearing in was better for...whatever we were.
and wouldn't be swear in keep us closer together? And help us when whatever Viktor is planning comes our way. This was good.
I nodded, "let's go tell Sin."
