The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

“Why don’t you give her a chance to understand and know Ethlyn in a better way?”

“And why would I do that?” Calvin asked in confusion.

“For the marriage, of course!!”

“No way!” Both Calvin and Ethlyn said at the same time.

Brandon looked at Ethlyn, narrowing his eyes. “Then you can leave. Call us selfish, but We aren’t sending my granddaughter away from her home.”

“But Sir, Ma’am..”

“Sometimes children have to face the consequences of their parent’s wrong deed, Ethlyn,” Brandon said, cutting her in between. “If you want to spend your life with your pup, then, unfortunately, you don’t have any other choice. Please leave with your parents now if your answer is NO.” He added, giving no room for discussion. Ethlyn opened her mouth to speak, but she couldn’t.

“You can force her to marry me, but you can’t do that to me because there is nothing that you can use as a weapon against me,” Calvin said, leaving the couch. “I’m enough for Rose. So, I don’t want her in Rose’s life.”

“Was I not enough for you, Calvin?” Sophia asked, opening her mouth for the first time during the whole conversation. “Was I not enough for you when you were a kid? I didn’t remember failing in fulfilling any duties as both mother and father.”

“That’s because you fulfilled both the responsibility of mom and dad,” Calvin replied, recalling his childhood when his father wasn’t with her mother because they both had gotten divorced. It wasn’t that her mother failed anywhere, but he just wanted a daddy, just like a normal family, just like other kids of his age, so that he could save him from his mother’s wrath.

He immediately remembered that how Roselet said that she wanted to stay with her mommy and daddy. Without answering Sophia, Calvin walked out of the penthouse.

A few hours later!!

A man who looked like an exact copy of Calvin entered in the penthouse, carrying Roselet in his arms. At the same time, Roselet’s hands were full of chocolates.

“Go and ask Nelina to keep all the chocolates except one in the fridge,” he said, putting her down.

“Thank you so much, Buddyyyyyyy.” She said happily with a smile, but he didn’t smile at all. But Roselet didn’t mind it because she knew how her uncle Colton was and ran away from there.

Colton didn’t see anyone around and assumed his parents must be having a rest after a long journey. He was about to leave from there when someone said, “Listen….”

He turned around to see a woman wearing her mother’s midi dress.

‘What’s wrong with his scent and his wolf? He now smells like a human.’ She wondered, looking at him with a frown. The last thing that she remembered was Calvin leaving in a t-shirt and boxers, and now he was standing in a three-piece suit. “Anyways, I just want to say that… that I am ready to marry you.”

Colton arched his eyebrow at this statement, wondering who the hell this woman was proposing to him for marriage.

Ethlyn didn’t know what to say more. Just a few hours back, she didn’t want to marry him, but now she would do anything for her daughter, even if it included marrying a person like him.

When she saw Calvin didn’t give any reaction to her, she felt like stupid. So, she left from there when she heard Roselet whispering about chocolates with Nelina.

She had barely made a move toward the kitchen when Colton walked out of the penthouse.

‘Weird.’ She thought and silently went toward the kitchen.

“Can I keep five chocolates with me?” Roselet asked, holding chocolates in her hand.

“No. You will end up eating all of them at once.” Nelina said. “Now, give me the chocolates, or I will tell Calvin.”

“Pleaseee, Nilu.” Roselet pouted, showing her cute face.

“Nelina is right, Rose,” Ethlyn said in between, on which Roselet looked at her. “Please give her your chocolates. Eating a lot of chocolates at the same time is not good for teeth.”

“You don’t understand, Mommy,” Roselet responded. “Calvin has a bad habit of stealing my chocolates at night.” She said. It was true that Calvin used to share his favorite things with Roselet in her presence, but this was also one of the truths that sometimes he used to end up ending all her chocolates and chips in her absence.

Ethlyn remembered how Calvin started eating chocolate that his father got for him like a child.

“Don’t worry. He won’t eat your chocolates this time.” Ethlyn said.

Hearing it, Roselet giggled and spoke, “I know my daddy but to prove that I’m right, here goes my chocolates.” Saying this, she gave her chocolates to Nelina.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“Let’s go. Help me in changing my clothes.” Roselet said, grabbing her hand. She took Ethlyn to her princess-style room. Ethlyn was again surprised to see her big room. The wall was painted with a Frozen theme because Elsa was Roselet’s favorite and blue was her favorite color, unlike pink. “How is my room?”

“It’s so beautiful,” Ethlyn said and was about to touch her wardrobe when Roselet stopped her and made her sit on the bed.

“Are you upset because I refused to stay with you leaving Calvin?” Roselet asked in concern.

“No, dear,” Ethlyn said, cupping her face. “In fact, I was thinking over the fact that you asked me in my pack and also in the morning.”

“Really? You’re thinking of marrying my daddy?”

‘To be with you. I’m ready to do anything.’ Ethlyn thought and nodded her head.

“And Love? What about loving my daddy?” She asked in excitement.
