Chapter 262 Are You Nathaniel’s Girlfriend?
Chapter 262 Are You Nathaniel’s Girlfriend?
Frey had made arrangements for her property to be divided into four parts in the event of her death. Which was to her mother, brother, the orphanage, and Peyton.
She sighed bitterly, realizing how morbid it was to think about death. Yet, given the dangerous games she had been playing with Nathaniel, life often seemed like a matter of life and death.
After much searching, Frey finally found an apartment with good security features. Located in Lush Garden, it was conveniently close to Andala Corp, where she planned to apply for a designer position in one of her investments.
She immediately contacted the agent. Despite the expensive fees, the apartment was still available, and the agent eagerly arranged for Frey to visit. Frey grabbed a piece of sandwich from a convenience store and ate it at a small table by the window before taking a taxi to Lush Garden. The community was neither new nor old but well-managed. The apartment was on the eleventh floor, offering a broad view.
Frey signed the lease, hired a part-time worker for basic cleaning, and moved in. She ordered necessities such as bedding, pots and pans, and appliances, and bought a few changes of clothes and some underwear.
That evening, Frey cooked egg noodles, took a shower, and was about to start a new design on her computer when her phone rang.
An unfamiliar number flashed on the screen. Assuming it was a wrong number, she almost ignored it until the calls persisted.
Annoyed, Frey answered, and a nervous male voice came through. "Hello! Are you Nathaniel's girlfriend?"
"He's drunk and gave out your number, saying you're his girlfriend. Can you come pick him up?"
The background noise was chaotic as if coming from a roadside stall. It was clear that those around didn't recognize Nathaniel from Saeville. However, he was still telling them her number even though he was drunk.
Frey clenched the phone tightly and remained silent.
Meanwhile, the person on the other end of the phone got anxious. "Hey! Hurry up and take your boyfriend back. It's such a cold day and what if he catches a cold?"
"I'm not his girlfriend. Call his assistant at this number!"
Her voice was cold as she read Koen's number aloud.
Suddenly, there was a commotion, and through the noise, Frey could hear Nathaniel's slurred, desperate voice.
"Frey... Frey..."
He repeatedly called her name, he was clearly drunk.
"Frey! Frey! Don't leave me! Come back, please?"
"Please... Come back..."
His voice was hoarse and pitiful, sending a shiver down her spine.

breath and dialed Koen's number, hoping he could locate Nathaniel in his state of intoxication.
Koen answered quickly, his voice filled with anxiety. "Ms. Frey? Is Mr. Nathaniel with you?"
"We've been searching for him all day."
Nathaniel had just returned from Buranda, and they didn't want anything to go wrong now.
Since Frey had left, Nathaniel had
gone on a rampage at Ocean Villa smashing everything in sight. He then drove out of the villa's yard and disappeared.
Despite their efforts to follow him, they couldn't keep up with Nathaniel's driving skills. Now, they were frantic. When Koen saw the call from Frey, he was momentarily relieved.
Frey dashed that hope quickly. "I'm not with him, but you might try looking at barbecue stalls in Saeville's alleys. He could be there." "Huh? Ms. Frey?"
