The Lycan's Soul Mate

Chapter 11 ultimatum

Chapter 11 ultimatum

“Hello!” Luna greeted Lucian as she walked up to her parents for an explanation but rather was sent to

get ready for dinner. Luna excused herself and did as she was told. How strange that her gym teacher

be found at her house? Why was he here? It couldn’t be because of any misconduct on her part. She

walked up the narrow stairs and overheard them arguing in a low tone so as to not draw her attention.

“She has every right to know. You cannot keep this from her. She needs her family, her real family. You

will not be able to help her. I can. You need to decide. Either you tell her, or I will.” You have until the

end of the week.

“Who do you think you are anyway? You can’t just walk into our home and place demands. You may be

her blood but we raised her.” Michael said.“Do you really want to test me on that? You wife lied to me

and hid the child from me. If there was ever a chance of us being civil and getting past this, that time is

long gone. You will be wise to talk down your husband. I have the documents to support my claim.

Speak with the child and let her decide If you don’t then I will.” He told them with an authoritative tone

and left. Lucian was upset when he left Luna’s house because of the rude reception that he’d received

from Luna’s parents. “She wasn’t even married to my brother and does not have legal guardianship of

Luna. Who does she think she is having her pet of a husband talk about things that did not concern

him? I should rip him to shreds for this insolence.” He was more concerned about Luna though on this

night especially. He decided to spend awhile outside at a safe distance to keep an eye on Luna but

when nothing happened till 2 Am, He left for a run in the woods thinking about how he could help Luna

without freaking her out.

Lucian growled as he began to shift. As his wolf emerged out of his skin Lucian howled in pain as Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

shifting was not always a gift as it was painful even after years of shifting. Lucian was a beautiful black

wolf with grey eyes. He had a crescent moon mark on his neck. He disappeared into the woods and it

felt like home to him. Luna looked up at the moon and realized how big and beautiful it was.She stared

at it and started to feel hot. The heat was unbearable and she suddenly felt the urge to get out of the

house. This is exactly how she felt on the night of her birthday when she went missing. She didn’t want

to repeat her past mistakes so she left a note on her bed in the event that she did not return. “Guys,

couldn’t take the arguing so went to a friend’s house. Be back in the morning.”

Luna jumped out of her bedroom window and bolted for the woods. She didn’t know why she did what

she did but she just felt that she had to go into the woods. Luna ran and ran till she got to a creek deep

in the woods and got into the water as she was burning up. She felt like there was something inside her

that needed to get loose. The water from the creek helped as it felt cool on her burning skin. She

looked up at the moon in the clearing through the trees and let out a scream which to her surprise

came out like a howl. She then felt her bones cracking, the pain was excruciating yet she felt relief with

each cracking bone something seemed to emerge. Her jaws opened and grew her arms and legs all

felt like legs and she did a summersault in the creek only to realize that she was no longer human.

Luna looked at herself in the creek and what she saw was amazing. This huge white wolf with blue

eyes and a crescent moon tattoo on her hind leg. The tattoo was just like the one that Luna had on her

butt. That was how she knew that the wolf staring back at her in the waters of the creek was herself.

She glared at the shadow then up at the moon and let out a growl. “AOOOOOOOOOOOH” she

howled. To her surprise she got a response. “AOOOOOOOOOOO” The howl seemed to come from the

distant wood. She growled to herself and explored the wood, she ran for what seemed to be hours and

felt like she was looking for someone. It was just like the last time when she felt this pain and could not

remember what happened when she awoke the next morning with blood on her face and hands. She

looked up at the moon and saw a huge black wolf with a full moon tattoo on its chest. She lay on her

back and looked at the moon as she couldn’t take her eyes off this wolf.

She felt an attraction to it. She got a scent, a taste and could almost feel it. She felt her heart fill up with

emotion and eventually began to run as if towards the moon where she’d seen the wolf. She’d run for

what seemed like hours but could not reach him. She needed that wolf. Her heart was breaking into a

million pieces as she could not reach him. Luna growled in frustration then the image began to fade

and the pain returned. She saw her hands emerge then her legs and saw that she was butt naked

seated on a tree stomp. Luna walked a few yards and was able to sniff out her clothes. She came to

the creek and found her clothes lying on the banks of the creek. She went ahead to wash herself in the

creek then got dressed and ran home. When she got to her house the sun had not yet risen. She

looked around and as no one was in sight she climbed up the side of the house and climbed into her

room.

She looked at the clock and realized that it was only 5:15 AM. She went straight to the shower then

went to get ready for school. She let her parents get up as usual and then rushed down as was

customary to rush through breakfast and then take off for school. She hadn’t needed the note that she

left as it had not been seen. They hadn’t checked on her.

Luna left for school that day with a new feeling in her heart. “Love” A love that she felt for a certain

black wolf that had taken over her entire being. She had no idea what had happened to her more like

why this had happened to her but she didn’t mind it. She loved it.
