Chapter 504 A Grand “Gift” for Cedric

When they returned to Versant Villa, Bianca couldn’t help but ponder how to swiftly conclude her

dealings with Zane.

Tonight, she had truly come to understand that the Entes family was not to be trifled with!

Anyone with a semblance of reason would know not to get entangled with them. Once they did, it felt

like sinking into a complicated web.

“What’s on your mind?” Zane asked, noticing her thoughts had wandered. When he looked at her, his

eyes held a depth that wasn’t there before.

Bianca responded in a somewhat frustrated manner, “Why do I feel like I’ve been dragged into a very

complicated mess?”

Indeed, that was precisely how Bianca felt.

Even though she contemplated how to quickly conclude their transaction, she couldn’t shake off the

feeling that even after its conclusion, she wouldn’t find peace.

“You’re only realizing this now?” Zane questioned.

Bianca remained silent.

Now?!

Bianca’s heart was in turmoil as she looked into the man’s calm eyes.

Without waiting for Bianca’s response, Zane continued, “Even if you had stayed by Malcolm’s side,

you’d eventually get sucked in. In this matter, you at least retain some semblance of

control.”

A feeling of suffocation gripped Bianca’s heart.

Yes, Malcolm had dragged her into à complicated situation between Jade and Zane.

He hadn’t given her a choice. Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

Yet this… was a decision she had made herself.

Given another chance, she would still choose to stand by Zane rather than be forcibly pushed onto an

operating table.

Zane’s smile deepened at her silence. “What’s wrong?”

Bianca took a deep breath. “Nothing.”

The weight of her choices weighed heavily on her mind, clear as day.

Before today, she might have overlooked it. But now, Bianca understood that she was just beginning to

sink deeper into this mess, with numerous challenges awaiting her.

“Rest early. I need to step out,” Zane said, noting her pale complexion.

Glancing at her wristwatch, Bianca realized how late it was. Still, their relationship didn’t necessitate

her behaving like a dutiful wife. So, she nodded and headed upstairs.

As she entered her room, she caught the flickering lights of a car outside and instinctively approached

the window to look.

A Maybach with its window slightly lowered sat below. A faint shadow of a woman could be seen

inside. When Zane pulled open the door, the shade of the lipstick on the woman’s lips became instantly

recognizable in the dim light.

Wasn’t that Yvette, the Entes family’s fourth daughter–in–law? Hadn’t Yolanda ridiculed her during the

family banquet? The woman with the most significant animosity toward Bianca?

During her time there, Bianca had sensed an intricate relationship between these two women.

And now, in the dead of night…!

That night, Zane didn’t return.

Wexford was in utter chaos. Many issues had escalated, making it a crucial moment for both Irwin and

Cedric.

Even from afar in Mount Elven, Natalie was acutely aware of the situation.

However, amidst such circumstances, Irwin remained calm as he accompanied her, even though he

could sense her burning gaze on him.

A smile tugged at the corner of his lips. “What are you thinking about?”

Gracefully setting down her teacup, Natalie replied, “I’m wondering how you manage to stay so

composed.”

“You gave Cedric such a generous ‘gift‘, you know? Rest assured, I have time to spend with you until

he and the Schneider family’s issues are resolved.”

So, the chaos in Wexford was between the Schneider family and Cedric.

That family was one that no one wanted to be associated with, as they were like a gaping maw

ready to consume all. Even those closest might find themselves torn apart.

Given the risk, why would anyone get involved with such a family?

And Cedric was now…?
