The Divorcee and Her Three Chaotic Children (Olivia Clarke and William)

Chapter 24

Chapter 24

“What?! Damian has been loyal all these years. Why would he do such a thing?”

“Yeah. He’s always been loyal, so why would he hurt young Mr. Kinsman? Unless Luci’s disappearance

is good for his master, right?”

William looked down at the pale woman before him and suddenly felt a sense of unfamiliarity.

He couldn’t figure it out!

Perhaps he had never figured it out all these years.

“William, are you doubting me? Luci is my nephew. I’ve always regarded him as my own son. How

could I hurt him? Luci, you believe me, right?”

“Where were you two hours ago?”

“I was at home. Why? I overslept today and woke up a little late.”

“Honestly?”

“Of course, I’m telling the truth. William, I’ve never lied to you. You must believe me!”

Gianna looked at him pitifully and begged for mercy.

It seemed that she felt like she was being accused!

“Sir, I’ve checked the surveillance footage. There were no other customers in the store before Miss

Clarke arrived. In addition, our tracker has been detected in the bag on the ground.”

A tracker?

Gianna was a little confused.

“What’s going on? Why is there a tracker on my clothes? No, it’s not mine!”

Looking at the leather jacket and the small magnetic tracker in the bag, she had a bad feeling.

“Gianna, Damian was pushed down the stairs two hours ago. The murderer was a woman wearing this

leather jacket. I put the tracker on her. Now, I’ve followed the positioning and found you here. What a

coincidence, huh.”

“What? Damian was killed?”

Just now, Gianna fantasized that since Damian had been exposed without any evidence, she could

blame him for kidnapping young Mr. Kinsman.

But why did something happen to him at this critical moment?

Gianna’s mind was in a mess. Damian had been silenced. As the biggest suspect in hurting young Mr.

Kinsman, Gianna looked like she was most likely the person who killed him.

And she just so happened to appear at the place where the murderer was being tracked!

Wait, why was this plot so familiar?

This was precisely the same method she had used to plot against Olivia back then!

But she wasn’t the one who pushed Damian down!

Who, who on earth was trying to scheme against her?

She felt her entire body shaking. A terrifying thought popped into her mind, causing her to break out in

a cold sweat!

But her intense obsession allowed her to calm down at this moment.

She couldn’t let William down at this critical moment. They were going to be married soon.

She was the daughter-in-law of the Kinsman family. Nothing could go wrong with this matter!

“William, you said someone killed Damian? Why would she kill Damian? He is one of my people, so

does that mean she is targeting me? William, I’m scared.”

Gianna got into character immediately, and her eyes reddened while she spoke as if she had suffered a

lot.

She looked so pitiful.

William looked at her and did not reply.

Seeing that he did not continue to push the matter, Gianna took the opportunity to explain herself.

“Or perhaps, that woman bribed Damian. That day in the cemetery, apart from our family, only that

mysterious woman was there. Yes, it must be her!”

William did suspect Gianna, but he did not have any concrete evidence.

Moreover, the mysterious woman that Gianna mentioned was not without suspicion.

Therefore, after hesitating for a moment, he decided to further investigate first.

“I will definitely investigate this matter thoroughly. You still have a chance to tell the truth if you are

involved.”

“William, I swear on the reputation of the Clarke family that if I was involved in Damian’s death, my

family would go bankrupt and never have a chance to rise again.”

What a vicious oath!

William was a little moved!

At first, he didn’t believe that all of this had anything to do with Gianna, because she was just a rich

young lady who wouldn’t even do any chores, so she wasn’t really that capable.

And she didn’t have the guts!

But now, all the clues pointed to her!

From the mysterious woman, he had suspected at first, Olivia, to her, Gianna.

Was this the truth, or was someone deliberately diverting his attention?

He was meticulous and would not quickly come to a conclusion!

He wanted to catch the culprit!

“Marshall, take Miss Clarke home.”

“William, I’m a little scared. Can you stay with me today?”

“I still have something to do. You’d better go

home.”

“William…”

Before she could say anything, William had already gotten into his car.

She had no choice but to return to the Clarke family obediently.

However, she didn’t ask Marshall to take her home because she worried he would see through her

nervousness.

Damian fell off the building; she had to remove any traces as soon as possible.

Otherwise, if William found out about anything, all her efforts would be in vain.

At this moment, in a black car parked innocuously across the road.

Olivia’s face darkened as she watched the live broadcast.

William left just like that?

Even though Gianna was under obvious suspicion, he still let her off the h o ok.

Why?!

They were both suspected of being murderers, and there was also evidence, but why did William only

believe what Gianna said?

Even if Gianna was suspected, did he only believe in her?

Just because it was Gianna?

Was it because he loved her so much that he didn’t care about right and wrong?

What a disappointment!

Olivia shouted silently in her heart. The feeling of grievance was like a giant stone pressing down on

her chest. She desperately tried to push the rock away but to no avail. She felt as though she was

suffocating.

Even Olivia did not realize that she had fallen into a whirlpool of emotions. Her whole body was

trembling, and her face was getting paler and paler.

Cold sweat rolled down her cheeks, and even her screen was wet.

“Miss Clarke, please calm down.” Gideon noticed that Olivia was in a bad situation and patted her RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

gently on the back, trying to calm her down.

Olivia, who was about to drown in a sea of emotions, suddenly came to her senses when she heard

Gideon’s words. Only then did she realize that something was wrong.

15:40

Phew.

She let out a long sigh of relief and finally calmed herself down.

Although she had escaped from death five years ago, she had a problem.

When she was too emotional, she would lapse into a panic attack, just like a person who didn’t know

how to swim. She couldn’t breathe or struggle until she vomited blood.

Just now, she almost got into that condition again. Fortunately, someone around her pulled her back.

Seeing that Olivia had regained her senses, Gideon handed her a bottle of mineral water.

Olivia drank a whole bottle of wine and finally felt a little better.

“Gideon, thank you.”

Olivia looked at Gideon and smiled knowingly.

“It’s my task to take good care of you. You don’t have to be so polite to me. What do you plan to do

next, Miss Clarke?”

Gideon was a gentleman and a little old-fashioned. Now that he was suddenly thanked by Olivia, he

blushed without knowing, yet he still tried to cover it up.

“William can bear it, but I can’t. Since Gianna is trying her best to attend the charity dinner, let’s give

her a big gift at her favorite charity dinner!”
