The Ceo’s proposal

CHAPTER 21

.

I had too much time waiting for her to arrive, an hour and she still doesn’t arrive, Bianca was excited last night when we talked about the wedding, she wanted to get married so I don’t understand why now she has been delayed in arriving, the guests have already started to murmur that surely she has stood me up.

My mother says it’s bridal stuff and that he’s probably going to arrive but with the time that has passed I’m starting to believe that it’s not for me to start a family.

-Look here she comes!

Seeing her in her wedding dress walking down the organized path, I felt a huge relief as I thought she had made the decision. Reaching me, she takes me by surprise as she takes my hand, she says nothing and keeps her eyes on the father who started the wedding, everything seemed to be going well and soon we would have to say our vows and sign the minutes.

When I finished saying my vows written by my mother, I waited for her to say hers but she didn’t, I observed a different detail of her and it was that the ring I gave her was on her left finger, something strange since she always wore it on her right finger, all these months it was like that, even yesterday she also had it on that finger, since… according to her, only on the left one you only wear the wedding ring, because it is the one that is closer to the heart that only beats for the person you love.

-Since when do you wear the ring on that finger?

He still doesn’t answer making my suspicions grow, my mother makes me signs with her eyes so that we omit everything, when I saw my lawyer I made him understand what I wanted, so we omit the vows and we move on to the moment of signing.

The lawyer declared us husband and wife and when he told me I could kiss her, I didn’t and without wasting time I took her to the house, my mother was following me behind and Bianca’s mother too. They noticed my change of mood and being fed up with her shouting and telling me that I couldn’t treat her in such an abrupt way I stopped.

-Why are you defending her? -I questioned when I saw Bianca’s mother -Don’t meddle in my business.

-Listen, this is my daughter we are talking about. And she’s pregnant, what the hell is wrong with her?

-Your daughter?

I laugh since she hasn’t realized what’s going on so I remove her veil and she freezes as she sees the woman next to me pretending to be someone else. Her lips just quiver and point to Melissa who apparently took Bianca’s place.

-And the most ironic thing about this is that Melissa couldn’t have acted alone, could she mother?

-I don’t know what you are talking about son….

-Stop pretending mother. -The rage was consuming me because she kept denying it. -I can’t believe you did this to me, marrying her, Mom….

She looks for excuses to wipe her hands clean by saying it was the best for me and for her, but hearing her just pisses me off since she tried to do whatever she wants with my wedding and I will never forgive her for that, she set all this up so I would marry Melisa.

-Eros… I swear…

-You better shut up Melissa. -I warned between my teeth -Where is she?RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

-Please, don’t look at me like that…

Suddenly Bianca’s mother took my mother by the arm and without any words she slapped her so hard that she knocked her to the floor, my mother was stunned so she couldn’t react.

-Where’s my daughter?!

My mother asks me for help but I just repeat my question, she tells me that she is fine in the hotel she booked for her, that the only thing she did was that her limo didn’t arrive and changed direction and to go get Melissa.

-I warn you mom, if she is not there, if you have done anything to her… I swear you will no longer be my mother.

-You’re not serious,” he laughed. -You can’t do that to me, especially not for that girl with no future.

-Listen to me, I will never, never forgive you for this, mother. For your sake, she’d better be safe as you say, because if anything happened to her and my daughter… you’re going to regret it. Ah, I want you out of this house.

She had gone to far with all this, I knew she was capable of crazy things, but I never thought she would go to these extremes to achieve what she wants for all of us, she wants to control all of us to control even what we do and what we eat, but this is overstepping the boundaries between us, she went too far.

I told Bianca’s mother to go get her, when I was about to start the car Melissa appears at my car window.

-You can’t leave me here, you can’t do this to me, it’s our wedding, honey.

-Do you even listen to yourself? -Melissa, you once asked me the reason why I left you. -She looks at me and I can see how anxious she was. You’re beautiful, I won’t deny it, hot of course you are, but all in all, you’re crazy. And I don’t want a crazy woman for a wife, much less as the mother of my children. I prefer her to you.

-You can’t talk to me like that.

I sped up to get her away and I didn’t even stop at the traffic lights, I just wanted to get there and know that they were ok, when we arrived at the hotel, I asked for her room but when I saw the empty room I was paralyzed, an icy sweat runs all over me, and when I went back to reception to ask for her, the bellboy tells me that he saw a pregnant girl dressed as a bride getting into a black limousine.

The problem was that the limo I ordered for her was white, not black.
