The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 47

Chapter 47

Leah was hot on the tail of a taxi, and the chauffeur said, “Madam, it seems like she’s heading to Juniper Ridge”

Leah felt uneasy. If Lucian learned about the Flanagan family’s surrogate and Allison’s pregnancy, it could mean the end of the Flanagan family. Penelope had barely managed to become Mrs. Lindberg, and now there might be a homewrecker in the picture! In the world of the elite, a good family name gives you leverage, but once a baby comes into the picture, it’s a whole new ball game.

Leah started thinking quickly, and then suddenly, a sly smile crept on her face.

She called Allison, but she didn’t pick up. Leah didn’t get upset. Instead, she quickly typed a message, “I know you’ve been looking for a kidney donor for your mother. I can help you on one condition – you abort the baby and keep this secret. We can schedule your mother’s transplant this week.”

Leah knew Allison would agree because to Allison, Grace’s life was the top priority.

Allison was shaking all over when she read the message. She closed her eyes, her hands clenched. The car sped on. Suddenly, she opened her eyes, a tear rolling down her cheek. Her voice was hoarse when she said, “Pull over, please.”

“Miss, aren’t we going to Juniper Ridge? Just two more traffic lights and a turn, and we’ll be there.”

Allison forced a smile, “No.” She exited the car, standing under the bright streetlight, but she felt like she was in the dark; her eyes lost their light.

She returned to the private clinic. The tension was palpable. The kidney donor was Allison’s only hope; she couldn’t find one alone.

However, Allison didn’t trust Leah entirely. She said firmly, “I need written and video evidence that you can find a kidney in a week and arrange my mother’s

surgery”

Leah waved it off, “Sure.” She wrote a statement and recorded a video, then dialed a number, “Hey Erin, I need a favor. A friend needs a kidney, and I hope you can help.

Erin said, “Don’t worry, leave it to me. Unless it’s a rare blood type, I can find a match in three days.”

Leah glanced at Allison, “You heard that. Are we good?” Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

Allison seemed dejected; she signed and lay down on the operating table with her eyes closed.

Leah snickered outside the curtain, “Doctor, don’t bother with anesthesia. If she’s so attached to the baby, she should feel the pain of letting it go

The doctor was taken aback, “That kind of pain is unbearable. Are you joking?”

Leah was haughty, “Do I look like I’m joking? The contract is signed, and the money is paid. You just do as I say.”

The female doctor entered the operating room. The facilities were quite simple for an operating ‘room‘.

The doctor smiled at the pale, dull–eyed woman on the operating table.

“Miss, don’t worry. I’m very skilled. Unless there’s a complication, we won’t harm you. You don’t need to be nervous, just relax and cooperate.”

A tear slid down Allison’s cheek.
