Chapter 12 If I Were A Dog, What About Your Son?
Chapter 12 If I Were A Dog, What About Your Son?
Eleanor was dissatisfied with Lillian as her daughter-in-law from the very beginning. In her view, although Lillian was good-looking and brilliant, she was an orphan without a family background. She could not bring much help to her son, and her temper was cold and aloof, not attractive at all. She just sponged off their family. She was humble and cheap!
But the marriage between Lillian and Sebastian was decided by Sebastian’s grandfather when he was alive. The Spencer family had helped the Palmers, so Mr. Palmer insisted on the marriage and wanted to take care of Lillian.
But Eleanor thought that she and her son Sebastian did not owe to them. Why should they pay off debts instead?
Especially...
"I could endure other things even if you are disgusting, but you have married Sebastian for three years, you haven’t been pregnant yet! Lillian, the wild dogs outside still gives birth to many pups several times a year. What about you? You had no contributions to our family. You are even worse than a dog."
"You are a disaster or a bane. No wonder everyone in your family was dead as a doornail. You are the only one left. You are such a jerk, so your families must be villains also. They should go to hell earlier..."
"Mrs. Lu!" Lillian suddenly stopped her with a cold voice.
She could endure the bad treatment in the Palmer family, and it did not matter that she knelt here suffering injustice and slaps for no reason.
But Eleanor should not scold her family.
Those who had passed away consisted of her only warm memories.
"Please watch your words. You can scold me, but you should respect the deceased. You are not qualified to insult my family!"
"I am Sebastian's wife. You said that I’m worse than a dog. How about your son?" © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
"We’ve been married for three years. Indeed, you don’t like me, but I didn't force your son to marry me at the beginning. If he had refused, I would never marry him."
"Last night, your son was with his beloved Joanna. You should ask Joanna instead of me how he got drunk!"
"Also, no pregnancy is not my fault. You should ask your son. How can I get a baby without sex?"
Eleanor immediately widened her eyes, and all her attention was focused on the last sentence that Lillian said. She even forgot that it was so unusual that Lillian would argue back against her today.
"What did you say? What do you mean? How dare you say so? What...did my son do? He..."
Without sex? Eleanor wondered, ‘They’ve been married for three years, but they’ve never had sex?’
Was it possible?
"I mean literally." After arguing, Lillian gathered herself and said tonelessly.
Then she stood up and said, "Mom, if you have nothing else, I’ll go upstairs."
Sebastian was drunk and would probably lose his temper when he woke up. She might as well take the initiative and serve him first.
She was not a coward. She just wanted to live more peacefully and could bear it in exchange for a life with less trouble and obstacles.
"Stop." Eleanor suddenly rushed over again and grabbed Lillian's clothes to pull her out of the door. "I don't believe your nonsense. You definitely have infertility. I’ll take you to the hospital to check. If you lied to me, I’ll kill you! "
