Sweet Revenge: Jace & Emerald

Chapter 10

Emerald woke up early because it was her special day. She was looking forward to this day, hoping Jace would know about it. Young Morgan went downstairs excitedly and started her daily routine in the kitchen. She cooked their breakfast, making sure that her husband would like it.

‘Happy birthday to me. Happy birthday to me… Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday, to me.’ She sang internally while cooking.

“Jace, it’s my birthday. Can I have the honor of having breakfast with you?” She asked, practicing the words she would tell her husband.

She set the table and waited for Jace to come down. Emerald didn’t know what time her husband arrived the other night. She waited for him to ask permission to see her nanny, Lucy, until she fell asleep.

“Good morning!” Emerald greeted Jace as soon as she saw him wearing only his bathrobe. For her, he was so handsome and very manly, one of the reasons why she liked him. Young Morgan smiled brightly but faded when she saw a woman emerge behind her husband, also wearing a bathrobe. “What do you think you’re doing, Jace?”

“What?”

“Why did you bring a woman here again?” She asked.

“So?” Jace asked and looked at the woman smiling at Emerald mockingly. “Good, there are plates for two. Sit down, babe.” Young Higginson added, and the woman followed him.

“No!” Emerald exclaimed, not knowing where she got the courage. “I prepared two plates to share breakfast with you,” she said hesitantly in a low voice, making Jace chuckle.

“When did I ever let you eat with me, bitch?” He asked.

“It’s my birthday, Jace,” she replied, hoping he would let her.

“I don’t care!” Jace shouted, making Emerald fearful. She didn’t want to anger her husband because she didn’t want to suffer the consequences. “Sit now, babe.”

“Thank you, babe.” The woman replied sweetly. Emerald was about to leave when Jace stopped her.

“You stand there and wait for us. Serve us with what we need.” Emerald’s eyes widened, and said,

“I am not going to serve you and your mistress!” she exclaimed, angering Jace. He got up and held her by her neck before he replied.

“She’s not my mistress; she’s the woman I love. It just happens that I chose to marry you.” Emerald was so hurt. She didn’t know that after all that Jace had done to her, he could still hurt her more. She looked at the woman and found her smirking and raising a brow.

Jace let go of her, coughing. As she looked at the mistresses, young Morgan thought for a moment when she found the woman familiar. She thought she had seen her somewhere, but she couldn’t remember.

Jace and the woman started eating while Emerald watched them. “I’m so thirsty. Can I get an orange juice?” the woman told Jace, who looked at his wife.

Emerald turned and went to the kitchen to make orange juice. She handed the glass to the woman, who was so evil that she let the glass slip on her hand, causing it to fall on young Morgan’s foot and break.

“Can’t you do your job properly?” Jace asked angrily. He got up and pulled Emerald, who was in physical pain because of the glass.

“I didn’t–” She tried to explain, but Jace stopped her.

“Clean that up.” He said before he looked at the woman. “I’m sorry about it, babe.”

“It’s okay; no harm done,” the woman replied sweetly, smiling at Jace before she kissed him on the lips, which young Higginson responded to.

Emerald, who was cleaning the floor, was in so much agony, and her heart clenched, seeing how her husband was kissing another woman. She decided to leave when she thought they had been doing it for a long, but Jace stopped her. “I said, stay!” He warned without looking at her. “If you ever leave, I am going to stop your nanny’s medication.” He added.

With a broken heart, Emerald watched her husband and his mistress. It didn’t end there because they had nothing under their robe; Jace had the woman lay down on the table and fuck her.

Tears streamed down Emerald’s face, but she couldn’t do anything about it. She felt like she was dying, but thinking about her nanny made her hold on. “Ohh.. Babe, faster…” The woman moaned while young Morgan tried not to hear it. It was enough for her to see them, and being able to hear how much they liked what they were doing made her tremble in anger and, most especially, in pain.

Emerald felt like the world was on her shoulder and a million soldiers pierced her with their swords. Her heart was broken into pieces, and she wished the ground to swallow her whole.

‘Why do I need to suffer like this? Why can’t he just divorce me if he doesn’t want me? Why did he marry me in the first place if he would only do this to me? What did I do to deserve all of this?’ She asked herself.

All day, on her birthday, Emerald watched her husband’s infidelity while she served them. The woman stayed in the mansion until the afternoon before Jace sent her home.

Young Morgan, who was shattered and broken, sobbed and alone in her bedroom. Tears continuously flowed down her cheeks. Her body was numb, feeling helpless. Lucy’s condition was the only thing that made her hold on to her dear life. She didn’t want to leave her nanny in her condition since she was the only one who cared for her.

With a heavy heart, she walked to her bed and took the laptop she had hidden under. She didn’t know why she had to hide it from her husband in the beginning, but after what happened earlier, she realized she had made the right decision.

“Hey, what’s wrong? You’re supposed to be happy since it’s your special day, ” her friend said worriedly.

“Creep, I want to leave, but I want to make sure about my nanny’s condition first,” Emerald replied.

“You can count on me. Just tell me what you need.” Emerald started telling him about her plan.

Meanwhile, Jace sent the woman to her house. “I didn’t know that you still feel the same, Jace,” she said when he stopped the car in front of the closed gate.

“Forget about it, Esther,” Jace replied, gripping the steering wheel tightly. He knew how hurt his wife was. He saw it with his eyes and felt that it was enough suffering for her. He knew that it was Emerald’s birthday, so he brought the woman home.

He felt guilty when his wife told him that she wanted to have breakfast with him, and he wanted that, too. Ever since they were married, they had never had a meal together. He always made her watch and serve him and was determined to get his revenge.

“Don’t tell me you used me in front of that bitch!” Esther exclaimed because she didn’t like what Jace said.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

“Get out of the fucking car, now!” Jace shouted, making Esther tremble in fear. She didn’t want to anger him because she wanted him back. They were former lovers, and she was the only woman that Jace had slept with more than once. They’ve been together for a year, but he caught her with another man, causing them to break up.

Esther changed her tactics and said in a sweet voice while she caressed his crotch. Earlier, in Jace’s mansion, she remembered how hard he was when he was fucking her. She thought it was because he wanted her so much, but unknown to her, Jace was looking at Emerald, fantasizing about her. “Come on, babe. I want you again.”

Jace looked at her disgustingly as he shoved her hands on his crotch. “Get the fuck out of my car!” He shouted in Esther’s face, who quickly opened the door and got out of the car before he drove away. Feeling furious and, at the same time, hurt for his wife, Jace went to Kyle and spent the rest of the night with his friend, unaware of Emerald’s plan.
