Chapter 226: An Appointment?
Nancy drove the Maserati that Charlie gave her to Glory Group.
Nancy knew that Charlie went to the company early in the morning. She was eager to see him, so she had to drive to the company to find him.
Nancy parked the car on the side of the road. She opened the car door, jumped out, and ran towards the company lobby in a hurry.
After running in, she immediately stopped and frustratingly slapped herself on the head.
She had been with Charlie for so long, but this was the first time she had come to Glory Group, and she never asked which floor Charlie's office was on... Helpless, she could only walk towards the front desk.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
"Hello, may I ask which floor Charlie's office is on?"
Upon hearing this, the receptionist looked up and saw Nancy's flawless and beautiful face. She envyingly pursed her lips, "Do you have an appointment?" "Huh?"
Nancy was slightly stunned and asked, "An appointment?"
"Tsk..."
The receptionist looked at Nancy with disdain and rolled her eyes. "Come on, bumpkin. Don't you know that an appointment is required to meet the executives in the company?" Nancy was always respectful to others, but if someone deliberately targeted her, then she wouldn't be polite.
"Hmph, I'm Mrs. Firth. How dare you talk to me like this?"
"You? Mrs. Firth?"
The receptionist sneered.
Nancy was beautiful, but she looked
different from her photos. The photos of Nancy in the news either made her look like a bad girl of another Vivian. Today, she was herself.
Besides, the receptionist didn't think that Nancy would come to the company without even notifying Charlie.
"Are you out of your mind?"
The receptionist glanced at Nancy with disdain, "There are many people who want to be Mrs. Firth. You don't have the slightest chance! Get out!" "Hmph!"
Nancy sneered and pointed at her, "You're fired!"
"Oh..."
The receptionist covered her mouth and laughed, "I'm fired? Who do you think you are? Do you think anyone can be Mrs. Firth?" "What's going on?"
Just then, a deep male voice
sounded, and the receptionist and
Nancy both looked towards him. Charlie walked directly towards them, followed by Tom and several
other executives from the company.
The receptionist saw him and immediately stood upright and put on a flattering smile. "Mr. Firth."
Then she gave Nancy a very
disdainful look and complained, "Mr. Firth, this woman didn't make an appointment but wanted to see you. She even claimed to be Mrs. Firth and wanted to fire me... That's ridiculous!"
Upon hearing that, Charlie shot her a cold look and said in an angry voice, "Yes, she is Mrs. Firth. What's your problem?"
The receptionist froze at once and said in a trembling voice, "Mrs... Mrs. Firth, I'm sorry. I didn't recognize you. I'm so sorry..."
