Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 36

Happy reading…

“Papa went to the hospital shocked that you filed for Jayden’s divorce.”

“What?”

Hera almost let go of her hand on the phone.

“What’s wrong, Hera?” asked Haidar curiously. Because Hera’s face was already pale there.

“My father-in-law is in the hospital,” Hera answered quietly. And when she regained consciousness she immediately ran to find a taxi.

“Hera, let me take you!” said Haidar holding Hera’s hand. The woman was so panicked that she couldn’t think straight. Hera just nodded following Haidar’s steps.

It didn’t take them long to reach the hospital. And when they got there, everyone looked at Hera with a look that was hard to decipher. Jayden with his mother and Andrew and Anne, Hera’s parents. But it did not fail to make the woman walk closer to them.

“How about going to—”

Plakk!!!

Hera’s words were cut short when Andrew slapped her left cheek hard. Her ears made a buzzing sound.

“Dad …” Hera softly looked at her father. There was a glint of anger and disappointment in Andrew’s eyes.

“Are you aware of what you’re doing, Hera?” said Andrew in a low but emphatic tone.

Hera didn’t move, turning to look at Jayden who was smiling lopsidedly at him as if mocking Hera.

“Dad, please listen to me first,” Hera asked holding her father’s hand but was immediately pushed away. The movement that almost made Hera fall until Haidar who was behind her reflexively helped Hera by holding her body from behind.

“Enough! I don’t want to hear anything more from you!” Andrew then glared at Haidar. “And you get out of here before I drag you down!” he said warningly.

There was no more Andrew with that warm and friendly look that Haidar saw the day he came to lobby him. All he saw was the figure of a father who was so angry with him that Haidar had abused his daughter.

“Get out of here quickly!” shouted Andrew because Haidar didn’t move.

“Haidar, I beg you to go!” asked Hera desperately.

“But I can’t leave you in this state,” said Haidar in a worried tone.

“I’ll be fine, Haidar. Please go!” said Hera starting to cry as if she knew that her crying was Haidar’s biggest weakness.

Bugh!!

Without Haidar being able to dodge again, Jayden hit his left cheek with a fist which sent Haidar crashing down onto the floor.

“Jayden, what are you doing?!” shouted Hera pushing Jayden’s body then helping Haidar to stand up.

Jayden chuckled there. “You saw it, didn’t you? They were having an affair. They had an affair behind my back. That’s why Hera filed for divorce because she wanted to be with this savage business partner of mine!”

Wait? What?

Hera and Haidar’s eyes widened perfectly at what Jayden had just said.

“What did you say, Jayden?” Hera asked.

“Yes, Hera. I’m telling them all the truth about you,” Jayden said moving closer to Hera and Haidar.

“If you and Haidar have an affair.”

After receiving a call from Jane, Jayden’s mother, Andrew and Anne immediately went to the hospital where Elvis was being treated.

“How is the condition?” Andrew asked when he got there.

“There hasn’t been any news since Papa entered the ER,” Jayden replied, rubbing his mother’s shoulder, who had been crying for a while.

Anne approached Jane intending to soothe the besan but the middle-aged woman immediately pushed Anne’s hand away and glared at her.

“This all happened because of your ignorant daughter!” angry Jane.

Andrew and Anne looked at each other confused. “What do you mean, Jane?” she asked.

“Hera is suing Jayden for divorce,” Jane answered quickly.

“What?” The husband and wife almost said it at the same time.

“No, Jane. Hera couldn’t have done that,” said Andrew, still in disbelief. However, that trust was shattered when Jayden gave him a brown envelope containing Hera’s divorce suit, which Jayden still hadn’t signed.Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

“Here’s the proof, Dad. Hera filed for divorce from me,” Jayden said with a sad face. In contrast to his heart that cheered with joy. All of this was planned by Jayden from the start.

Hera could have filed for divorce but Jayden didn’t want to be the guilty party. Jayden Xavier’s good name should not be tarnished in the slightest.

“There must be a reason why Hera did this. She couldn’t have filed for divorce. She loves you so much, Jayden,” said Andrew still not wanting to believe it.

“Maybe it’s because Hera’s love is no longer mine, Dad,” Jayden said, making the three of them look at him in unison.

“What do you mean, son?” asked Jane.

Jayden lowered his head. Trying to shed fake tears to support the acting she is playing.

“Hera is having an affair,” Jayden whispered.

“W-what?” Andrew stuttered. And if only Anne had not restrained herself. Maybe the man would fall to the ground.

“Honey, are you all right?” Anne asked her husband. “Calm yourself, honey,” she said again, trying to calm Andrew down. Don’t let the man’s heart disease recur.

Anne led Andrew to sit on the waiting chair. “I’m fine,” Andrew said finally getting his emotions under control.

“Watch your words, Jayden! Hera couldn’t have done such a shameful thing!” said Anne, standing up, trying to defend the daughter.

“Are you sure? If your daughter won’t be like that?” Jayden asked instead challenging his mother-in-law.

“If Hera is having an affair, where’s the evidence?” And Anne also demands proof.

“Okay. I’ll prove it to Mom if I’m not making this up,” Jayden said. “Ma, please call Hera and tell her to come here,” Jayden said, snapping his mother out of a long daydream. It seemed that the woman also did not believe that Hera had an affair.

“All right,” Jane replied immediately doing as her son was told.

Unfortunately, the arrival of Hera with Haidar actually made Jayden’s accusations seem true. This is not included in Jayden’s scenario because initially he only planned to show photos taken by Roy while monitoring Hera.

But Hera actually made his job easier. Now it’s up to Jayden to do his job well.

The scene got hotter as Haidar hugged Hera. Can the man clap because fate seems to obey him now?

Jayden could see how angry Andrew was at all this. And now it’s time for Jayden to make a big bang between them.

Bugh!!!

‘This is in retaliation for yesterday you hit me, you bastard!’ Jayden cursed in his heart after hitting Haidar.

“Jayden, what are you doing?!” shouted Hera which made Jayden even more emotional. Unlucky! Hera even defended Haidar.

“You saw it, didn’t you? They were having an affair. They had an affair behind my back. That’s why Hera filed for divorce because she wanted to be with this savage business partner of mine!” Jayden said making the atmosphere so hot.

“What did you say, Jayden?”

Jayden turned around. Staring hatefully at Hera. Or just jealous. He don’t know, he can barely tell the difference.

“Yes, Hera. I told them all the truth about you,” Jayden said, pausing. “If you and Haidar have an affair.”

And the game was won by Jayden in all his cunning.
