Chapter 137
As he stared at how anxious Jessica was, Trevor hated himself for mentioning leaving the country in the morning.
Since Jessica had awoken, the doctor secretly told Trevor that she should be all right. Jessica might only have reacted this way because she was triggered by something.
Since the hospital's atmosphere was not the best, Trevor did not want Jessica to stay there any longer. Therefore, he brought her to the airport and left the country according to her wish. In his private plane, Trevor acted to be immersed in the magazine he was holding in his hands. However, his mind was fully occupied by Jessica.
Jessica, on the other hand, was reading the documents that the previous secretary had given to her. Written on the documents were multiple items to take note of while with the chairman. The clause on the document read: "Number one, never speak of Jessica to the chairman."
When Jessica saw that written on the document, a
strange feeling welled up in her heart.
"I can't even bring up my own name in front of him? Why? Does he hate me so much that he doesn't even want to hear my name?" she thought to herself.
A bitter smile formed on her face as she shook her head before continuing.
"Number two, everything that the chairman will be using should be in black or white. The chairman does not like colorful items."
"This should be easy," Jessica mused.
The third line read: "Number three, coax the chairman to sleep. Wait for him to sleep before sleeping yourself."
"What?" Jessica suspected that she had read wrongly.
"Coaxing the chairman to sleep? He's already an adult. Must he still be coaxed? Moreover, all of his secretaries were male. Can he only fall asleep when there's a man coaxing him?" When Jessica imagined the scene, she could not help but feel weirded out.
She was imagining two men lying on the bed. "Did his secretary tell him jokes or did he tell him a bedtime story? Must I rock him to sleep just like a child?"
"What are you thinking of?" Trevor noticed the strange expression on Jessica's face. He looked at her in confusion as he frowned.
He glanced at the documents she was reading, and the corners of his lips instantly lifted into a sly smile.
It seemed that she was reading the document that was specially prepared for her on how to be his secretary.
"Nothing," Jessica replied lightly before looking down to continue reading.
"Number four, the chairman is always busy. The secretary must feed the chairman when it is time to eat."
Jessica was really getting traumatized by what she was reading.
Trevor needed to be fed and coaxed to sleep. Is he still a baby? she thought.
However, when Jessica continued reading, she realized that it was only the beginning.
The next row of letters read: "Number five the secretary must help the chairman to arrange his clothes. Number six, the secretary must wear matching sleepwear with the chairman and sleep in the room together, regardless if it is a
fame
house or not. Number seven, the
secretary must not leave the
chairman's side."
As Jessica stared at the words written on the document, her hands that were gripping the papers started trembling.
In all of the rules that she had read so far, none of them were related to work matters.
She had to sleep in the same room dress in matching outfits, and stay by his side the entire time. It would be a hassle to go to the washroom if were the case.

"Am I supposed to just stand and stare while he is relieving himself? Is this a joke?" she exclaimed inwardly.Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.
"Are those rules hard to follow?" Trevor was trying hard to suppress the smile forming on his face as he looked at Jessica.
Jessica nodded solemnly. "It is very hard."
It was not that it was hard to follow. It was literally impossible.
"I don't understand, Mr. Gulliford.
Your previous secretary had to coax you to sleep?" Jessica asked tentatively. She could not stand her curiosity any longer. According to her memories, she was sure that Trevor was a normal human being.
"Yes," Trevor agreed with pursed lips. He admitted it just for her sake.
He was determined to admit to all of what was written on the document just to see what else Jessica had to say.
