68) Colder than before!
Authors pov
Jackson knocked on the door and entered in the office. He saw Rosetta sitting on the sofa while zipping up her black leather boot.
She wasn’t wearing that Dress anymore. She stayed in the office last night. She was wearing black leather jacket and jeans. Looking powerful than before and colder than usual.
Jackson looked at her with concerned face. He knows that she is in pain but she doesn’t want to show it anymore. He knows that she usually doesn’t open up and now when she got betrayed it will be very difficult to make her open up. Her introvert self will be on high position now. She seemed to be serious than before.
Jackson tried to make conversation with her yesterday but she only replied in one words and ended the conversation.
His eyes fell on her neck and he noticed red rashes. He can only imagine how much she has rubbed her body to get rid of his touch.
He was afraid that she might cry in the night and by her swollen eyes it looked like he was right.
Jackson has no idea what Skyler has done to her but he is sure that he has fucked up very badly otherwise Rosetta wouldn’t be behaving like this.
“You can’t get rid of his memories by rubbing your body, it will only hurt you…”
He said while entering the office.
Rosetta fixed her Jacket and looked at him with blank eyes.
“I am going to meet grandpa… I’ll be back soon…”
She said nonchalantly and completely ignored his words.
“What are you planning to do Rosa?…”
Jackson asked frowning.
“Divorce”
She replied coldly and Jackson raised his eyebrows.
He never thought that he will see this moment. She was crazily in love with him, would it be that easy for her to divorce him?
Jackson looked at her phone when it rang. He quickly looked at Rosetta when it flashed skyler’s name on the screen.
Rosetta looked at it Blankly. She simply picked it up and threw it in the dustbin.
“How am I supposed to call you?”
He questioned.
“I’ll buy new one, on the way back…”
She replied while grabbing her bike keys from the drawer.
Rosetta walked out towards her bike and started riding it. She was driving so carelessly like she doesn’t care about her life.
Alexander and Vincent were already waiting for her in the mansion. They were shocked when she called them yesterday and asked them to prepare divorce papers for her.
They had no idea what happened and what changed her mind so quickly. Yesterday she was fighting with them for her so Called love and today she is eager to sign divorce paper. They were beyond happy to hear that from her.
“What must have happened?… How can she change her mind within one day?”
Vincent asked suspiciously.
Alexander scoffed.
“Our child is smart Vincent, she knows what is she doing… He must have hurt her and Rosa won’t compromise in that… Anyway it’s happening for the good, that dirty blood doesn’t deserve our princess… I am very happy today, should we throw party?”
He chuckled.
“If he has really hurt her then i am going to kill that shit…”
Vincent said madly.
“We will do it sooner or later, for now let her divorce him… we will make sure they never see each other again…”
Alexander said with evil smirk.
They both stood up when Rosetta entered through the main door. They smiled at her proudly.
“It’s so good to see you again princess… I am so glad that you approached me.”
Alexander kissed her hand.
“I told you, I’ll always be there for you…”
“Did he hurt you?… Did he raised his hand on you?… Just tell me, I am gonna break his hands…”
Vincent asked angrily.
“I don’t want to talk about it… Just give me those papers…”
She replied keeping her face calm.
“Fine, we won’t talk about it… Unless and until you are fine, we don’t need anything…”
Alexander said. He just wanted her to sign those papers.
“Do you want anything else?… Are you hungry?… Did you had breakfast?”
He asked in caring voice while giving her divorce papers.
“I just want you to keep Mom and dad away from me… I don’t want to deal with them.”
She said while examining the papers.
“Don’t worry about it…”
Vincent assured.
They both looked at her curiously as she placed the papers on coffee table and signed it without blinking. She didn’t show any pain or expressions on her face. It was like she is signing cheque and not divorce papers.
She signed and handed it back to them. She stood up and took out another envelope from her jacket.
“This is the agreement we signed before marriage… It’s mentioned here that I can divorce him whenever I desire… If he refused to sign then use this…”
She said and Alexander took it from her with victory grin.
“Where are you staying now?…”Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Vincent asked.
“Uncle Jackson… I’ll be fine there… I want to stay alone… I have wasted enough time, I should focus on my work now…”
She replied
“I am so proud of you… But it would have been better if you have stayed with us… It’s a huge mansion, you can get enough alone time…”
Vincent suggested.
“No, I am fine… I should leave now…”
She said and walked out.
Alexander quickly hid the divorce papers when he saw Damian.
“Was she Rosa?… Why was she here?”
Damian asked as he caught glimpse of her driving away.
“It’s her house, she can come here whenever she wants… What a rubbish question”
Alexander scoffed and walked away.
“What a rubbish question”
Vincent scoffed mimicking Alexander’s expressions and followed him making Damian scowl at them.
“Age has started affecting there mind…”
Damian scowled and walked away.
“Thank god… That stupid man will tear it apart”
Alexander sighed in relief.
“I have worked hard for these papers… Do you have any idea how hard it is to make these papers overnight…”
He said dramatically.
“My hand is hurting after holding gun on lawyer’s head… Fucker was too lazy…”
“She did but will he sign it?”
Vincent said.
“He have to”
Alexander gritted.
Rosetta purchased new phone on her way. Her phone was finally silent. She went back to her office and engulfed herself in work.
She was in no mood to talk with anyone. She was confident that her grandfathers will handle the rest.
She wanted to be free from that relationship which gave her nothing but betrayal and immense pain. She felt good when she signed those papers. Her anger was too strong to let her soft side take over her.
She was busy in her work when the door of her office got slammed open and she saw the person whom she doesn’t want to see at all.
