Chapter 36 Here Comes the Takeout

Chapter 36 Here Comes the Takeout

“Miss Angel, does this mean that we can make appointment with you?” Some boys heckled loudly.

Professor Jordan immediately said, “No way. What did I say? You have to hand in your homework on

time, be on call at any times, your design meets the requirements, your paper get A+! Discussions with

Miss Angel can only be held in my office and not out of my sight!”

There was a roar of laughter and the boys' cheers.

In this materialistic age, it was good and rate that there were people who sincerely guide you!

Harvey and Aydinwere not people who didn't know how to be grateful, and Angel had saved them face.

It amde Angel win the heart of this class.

She looked even younger than them, but she had such power and insight.

Plus, when she spoke, she was so cool and handsome.

The students turned into her fans.

Angel was in a good mood that she gave a blow to Anna.

How shameless to take out with her first year's work!

Anna was unbearable that she lost face in the public.

It was just the beginning.

A perfect person was like a fragile eggshell. It could't stand beating.

Towards noon, Angel packed up her things, picked up a meal box and headed out.

“Oh, Belle, where are you going? Won't you come to the dining-room with me?” Hugo called her.

Angel smiled back at him. “No, Hugo, I have no mongey. I have to earn some extra money.”

“No money?” Hugo was surprised. She had got her salary a few days ago.

“It's gone. I'm so poor I don't have money to eat.” Angel replied without looking back.

Hugo looked at her back and muttered, “Girl, do you think I will belive you?”

Angel did not hear Professor Jordan's whine.

She walked quickly down the stairs, paused on the last step and slowed down her pace.

Anna was waiting for her at the door.

“Angel -” Anna’s nasal sound was heavy. She must have cried. Her eyes were read but her makeup

was still delicate.

Angel stood and looked at her quietly.

“Angel, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to deceive you and professor.” Anna reached out and took Angel's arm.

Angel instinctively stepped aside to avoid Anna's intimate gesture.

Anna wanted to cry, “Angel, I --, is there any misunderstanding between us? You used to have good

relationship with Belle and you often came to our home. Don’t you remember? Angel, I'm Belle's sister

and yours too!” Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Angel looked at her calmly. “Miss Anna, you're thinking too much. How could there be any

misunderstanding between us? I don't remember anything you said. Your sister was one of the

professor's students, she is my senior.” She explained clearly about their relationship.

“But I didn't expect you to hand in your sister's work, which impressed the professor.” Angel said coldy.

“Angel, Belle has died for five years, and in the past five years, I missed her every day. You you don't

understand my feeling. I envy you that you can lose memory. If only I can lose memory. I know Belle

had never handed in this work before, so I wanted her to be recognized by the professor. But I didn't

expect it to be misunderstood.” Anna’s voice sounded sad and helpless.

Angel looked at her with sudden relief.

She was sure that Belle was framed by Anna.

If it was not her reincarnation, she would believe her.

It turned out that Anna had good means, and she was not a match to her.

Angel sighed, “Since it is a misunderstanding, then you go to explain to the professor. For the sake of

Belle, the professor will fogive you, after all, you are kind. But don't do it again. Or it'll look like you're

taking advantage of someone who's been dead for years.”

She said and strode out of the room, not wanting to look at the woman again.

Anna held back her tears in a second.

She stared Angel’s back and clenched her fists until her fingernails were broken.

Angel took a taxi to the the Foster Group.

She had asked her brothers for permission to drive, but had yet to get an answer and, given her “many

sins”, she thought she better gave up.

Anyway, taking a taxi was convenient.

If it was not back to the Duncan’s, she did not need Tommy.

Sitting in the taxi, she sent a message to Jason, “Jason, takeaway has been on the road.” Plus a cute

smiley face.

Moments later, Jason replied, “Ok, I will send someone down to pick you up.”

Angel smiled.

She was happy, not only detered a group of students and made Anna lost face.

Anna had never been so embarrassed.

Once, Anna was perfect. Everything about her was perfect.

All the people around her obeyed her, taking care of her as if protecting a fragile China.

Oh, China? Get ready to be broken.

Like her aunt said, a perfect person was too fake.

The Foster Group was not far from M Univeristy, and was in the CBD business center.

For these wealthy families, location was a symbol of status.

After the establishment of status, the circle was also important.

Angel pulled up her hair, put on a hat, got out of the taxi, and headed toward the Foster Group with her

meal box.

Ten minutes earlier, Zak had suddenly showed up and stood by the entrance to the lobby, folded his

shoulders, looking out motionless.

That handsome cold face was expressionless.

The receptionists and the security guard on the first floor were good looking.

But the patrolling security guards were overshadowed by the level of Zak's look.

The receptionists could not help but keep their eyes on him.

Zak was Jason's personal assistant and bodyguard.

Generally he went to the top floor by the president's exclusive elevator from the underground parking

lot.

It was the first time that he stood on the first floor.

Angel walked straight to the lobby, facing the special lift, where if anyone came down he would be sure

to see her.

For about ten minutes the lift did not move.

Angel texted to Jason, “Jason, the meal is cold, when you pick me up? If I go straight to the front desk,

will they let me in?”

Jason hurried down from the elevator.

Zak felt surprised when he saw his boss, so he walked to him, “Mr. Jason, she has not here yet.”

Jason did not speak but looked around the lobby and saw a “youth”.

Zak was stunned, seeing that “youth” came over with her meal box.

Zak was surprised.

“Jason, how can you come down personally?” Angel asked happily.

Jason took a look at Zak, “Let's go.”

He reached out to take Angel's meal box.

In the elevator, “Miss Angel?” Zak was not sure.

Angel looked at him. “Hello, did you stand by the door?”

Zak showed a wry smile, “My boss let me pick you up. But I didn't recognize you, why --”

Angel suddenly looked down at herself and said, “I think men's clothes are convenient. I'm afraid that

wearing women's clothes will have a bad effect on Jason.”

With that, she smiled at Jason.

Jason was confused, “What effect?”

Angel winked, “Affecting you to find a girlfriend. I am afraid there will be a scandal.”

Jason frowned, “Nonsense! I don’t have a girlfriend.”

Angel showed a bright smile.

Zak was confused.

Jason took a look at Zak and said “This is Zak, you can come to him.”

Zak straightened his back immediately. “Miss Angel.”

Angel smiled, “Hello, Zak.”

She could see that he was Jason's assistant.

They were different from her brother and Alfie.

At this time, the lobby was noisy.

“What's the matter? Did Zak get punished? Mr. Jason came down to pick her up in person? Who is

that?”

“It's a young man. He's got a hat on. I can't see his face, but he'll be very handsome!”

“Dear me, did we see something we weren't supposed to?”

“Really? Is it really our boss --”

“Oh dear, how sad!”

“Not only a woman will rob your boyfriend, even the man will get involed.”

“Why are you whining?”

“I've been using my boss as a reference for my boyfriend!”

“Good heavens, then you'll never get married.”
