Rebirth In Divorce: My New Mr. Perfect

Rebirth 17

Chapter 17 came in.

Xavier's reaction startled everyone in the room. One person hesitated before saying, "After Yvette left, you weren't yourself for a while. The higher-ups at the company were unhappy with you, and things only calmed down when some new projects "I heard from my dad that most of these projects were brought in by Yasmine under the name of Mrs. Flynn. Yasmine didn't have a high education and didn't really understand the business side of things. As she had used the title he hated, she worried that he might reject her help. Thus, she had kept it from him for three long years. Xavier sat in the shadows silently, and suddenly, he felt a sharp pain remembering her expression from earlier that day.

When he got home that evening, he found Yvette sitting on the couch chatting with Selena. They looked close and genuinely happy.

"Xavier, come here! I was just talking to Yvette about the wedding. She mentioned that a lot of people are going with traditional weddings these days. I thought we could blend both styles for you two... Selena beamed. "Mom, can you please head upstairs? I need to talk with Yvette, Xavier said.

"Sure, you two talk. I won't interrupt," Selena replied playfully as she headed upstairs.

The lingering smell of alcohol hung around Xavier. The butler poured him a cup of coffee and left the room. Xavier took a sip and turned to Yvette, hesitating before saying. "Yvette, how about I find your parents a new place?" Yvette paused, sat beside him, and bit her lip. "Xavier, I'm really sorry. I had no idea the house belonged to Ms. Sanchez. That's what caused all the confusion. My mom and dad weren't happy about it, and if we let them move out now, they might misunderstand you and Ms. Sanchez

Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, and with her beautiful face she looked incredibly pitiful. Xavier's heart softened, and he pulled her into his embrace, whispering, "Let's hold off on the move for a few days. I'm sure Yasmine won't mind." Yvette nodded, but her eyes darkened with a brewing storm of emotion. Little did they know, before Xavier could mention the moving thing to Yasmine, Yasmine had given Yvette a serious wake-up call.

After discussing the rent with Chuck, Yasmine went to check out the house. It was right above Yoselin's place, nicely decorated, and all it needed was for her to move in a few essentials.

Once she finished moving in, she headed to Aurelith University for her job appointment. Soon after, she received a call from the notary office, saying all the properties Xavier had given her were officially in her name.

After gathering the documents, she called the security at Silver Oak Villa. Not long after, the security team-knocked on the door of the villa and asked Jack and Melissa to leave bluntly.

Melissa stared in disbelief. "What are you doing? Who gives you the right to kick us out?"

A security guard replied impatiently, "Sorry, but this is the owner's decision. If you don't leave now, we'll have to call the police:

"The owner?" Melissa fumed. "Do you even know who the owners? This is my future son-in-law's home!"

Seeing she wasn't budging, the guard tossed her bags outside. Melissa refused to back down, fighting back against them. Her once-refined demeanor was replaced by fierce determination, drawing curious glances from onlookers

BGB.

Furious, Melissa called Yvette, only to find out that the house was indeed now in Yasmine's name.

Meanwhile, Yvette was busy arranging a hotel for her parents while trying to calm Melissa down. "Mom, since Yasmine has the house now, I'll get Xavier to help you find a new place." "What are you talking about? Why should that house go to his ex-wife? What does that make you?" Melissa insist
