Chapter 11
Chapter 11
Winslow did not know whether to laugh or cry. She looked at him and said, "Zephy, you'd better not make trouble for your mommy. We can't afford to offend such a man."
"Miss Winslow, you also think that I look like him, don't you?" Zephaniah stared at the man in the photo and he felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity.
"Yes, you two really look alike. Your facial features are similar to his, especially your nose and mouth. You guys are identical! I think your daddy must be very handsome, otherwise, how can he have such a good-looking son like you?" Winslow said enviously. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
The little fellow looked at the man in the photo and tried to verify this from Winslow. "Are you sure that Augustine Giltstone lives in that building?"
"That's his company, and he should be working there." Winslow couldn't guarantee this. After all, Augustine Giltstone was the richest man in the world now. Who could be sure where he was right now?
However, the little fellow took her words seriously and committed them to his memory. He thought that he would make a brief resume of his mommy, and then hand it to this man. Then, this man will hire his mommy to be his girlfriend.
Half an hour later, Winslow took the little fellow back to the company. Vivianna had calmed down for half an hour and she began to design for Jessamyn Salaway. When she was in her third year of university, Jessamyn had approached her and assisted her with all kinds of things. They met frequently and they became best friends. However, she knew now that Jessamyn was such a hypocrite. She was pretending to be friends with her while having a secret affair with Xenophilius.
While Vivianna was having a headache, a childish voice came from behind her. Her son called out, "Mommy, Mommy... we're back!"
In that instant, Vivianna's nerves became relaxed. She watched as her handsome son ran into her arms. She held him like a cherished treasure.
Yes, for the sake of this child, she could accept any grievances, resentments, and any form of sufferings.
"Mommy, I chose this for you. See if you like it or not?" he said.
"Mommy likes everything that my baby Zeph chooses!" Vivianna kissed him.
"Okay, Mommy, you can go back to work after you finish eating! I'm going to play with Miss Winslow." "Okay, go ahead!" Vivianna smiled and she took the cake from his hand. Looking at the little figure running around in a joyful manner, her eyes were full of tenderness and love.
Vivianna had an independent office. At this moment, it was time to get off work, so most of her colleagues had left. Winslow took the initiative to stay behind to accompany the little fellow, so that Vivianna could work at ease.
"Miss Winslow, can you print a resume for me?" he asked.
"What do you want a resume for?" she inquired.
"It's useful for me. Print me a copy! Please," He displayed an absolutely cute expression and the pair of large watery eyes he had reminded Winslow of a kitten.
Winslow couldn't resist his charm. She immediately stroked his little head and said, "Okay. I'll print a copy for you now."
Winslow did print him a copy of a resume. She thought to herself, "Zephy doesn't know many words at this young age. What does he want to do with a resume?"
Vivianna worked overtime until eight o'clock in the evening. She couldn't bear to let her son accompany her. She planned to continue her work at home and cook dinner for him. She wanted to coax him to
sleep first, and then she could burn the midnight oil!
Linda was also working overtime. She lived at the same residence, which was arranged for the company's employees. She sent the mother and son back home.
Their little family, with an adorable child, and a loving woman... it would always be warm and cosy.
