Chapter 2322
“A severe poison?” Francesca was shocked, “Could it be Danrique?”
“It doesn’t say, but it should be him.” Anthony looked grave, “Why else would they be looking for a famous doctor
with such fanfare? Apart from Danrique, who is that important?”
“They can’t find Master ……,” Francesca frowned, “These are the months when he’s in seclusion.”
Master Felch would go to the mountains every once in a while to study medicine in seclusion and not see anyone, in
this case, unless he was his disciple or a close friend, it would be impossible for anyone else to find him.
“Then what should I do?” Anthony looked at her weakly, “Do you want to take care of this matter?”
Francesca was silent, when the struggle between Danrique and the President had caused the tragic deaths of her
auntie Layla and Uncle Lincoln, since then, she vowed never to get involved in it or meddle in the matter again.
And she really did.
For more than a year, she and Anthony lived in seclusion in the mountains with their children, not asking questions
about the world, and not paying any more attention to anyone’s grudge struggles.
However, it was only a year ago that something happened to Danrique again.
Could she really manage to ignore it?
Francesca looked at her three lovely children and was very conflicted in her heart.
If they grew up in the future, would they hate her if they knew that she didn’t save their father from death?
However, if they did save him, they would start to be entangled again.
Francesca covered her forehead, caught in a tangle and distress.
“You should not be too anxious, maybe things are not what we think.” Anthony gently reassured, “Maybe the one
who is sick is someone else.”
“The Lindberg family is dying out, who else would it be but him?” Francesca shot back.
“Uh ……” Anthony didn’t know how to take it for a moment.
“Forget it, don’t care about him, love to die or not, what’s it to me?”
Francesca said under her breath and continued to pound the herbs.
“Right, right, leave it alone, let’s just live our own lives.” Anthony hurriedly followed her words, “I’ll go and see if
Granny’s dinner is ready, she’s made chicken stew tonight.”
With that, Anthony went to work.
But Francesca did not care to do anything, she looked at the message in the computer, imagining Danrique’s dying
from a severe poison, and her heart was tearing with pain.
Although she hated him and she was still worried and anxious knowing that something had happened to him.
Just as she was thinking, the sound of a car came from outside, Anthony ran out with a thud to check, and then
rushed in with a fervor, “Francesca, the Lindberg family is here!”
“???” Francesca froze for a moment and asked, “Who is it?”
“I just took a look through the door, it’s Sean, Mylo and a few of them.” Anthony asked anxiously, “What should we
do? Should we run?”
“Watch the kids.”
Francesca dropped these words, took the bag of medicine and tied it around her waist, and walked out in stride.
Opening the wooden door of the courtyard and seeing the scene in front of her, Francesca froze.
There were three cars parked outside, and a familiar entourage of Sean, Mylo and others stood in two neat and
orderly rows, waiting quietly, not daring to knock on the door or make a ruckus.
When they saw Francesca coming, all of them lowered their heads and shouted in unison, “Ms.Felch!”
“Ms.Felch, long time no see.”
Sean walked over and looked at Francesca with a smile.
It had been a year, Francesca’s hair had grown longer, her skin was fairer, and she was a little more mature and
stable than before, but those eyes were still full of spirit. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
“How did you guys know I was here?”
Francesca’s words were asked, and then she felt she had asked in vain.
If the Lindberg family wanted to find someone, they would find them, and besides, this place of hers was not that
hidden.
“Actually, I always knew you were here, but I was afraid of disturbing you, so I didn’t dare to come to pay my
respects.” Sean’s expression was grave and his eyes were complicated, “This time, I also came because I had no
choice but to come, I had something to ask.”
