Marry My Ex’s Uncle After Rebirth by Agatha Barney

Chapter 228

When Stephanie woke up, it was late at night.

She looked at the furry head in her hand and smiled slightly.

Julianna once said that men were unreliable and that only her best friend was true love.

Stephanie quipped about being wary of even one’s closest friend in certain situations.

But at present, she was accompanied by her best friend.

She saw the drip bottle was getting low and quickly hit the call button.

Although the movement was slight, the sleeping person still felt it.

Julianna looked over with sleepy eyes and instantly became energetic, “Don’t move! I’ll call the nurse to pull out the needl

Stephanie felt that she was making a fuss, “It’s okay. I may have low blood glucose, so I’m not that delicate.”

Julianna gently placed Stephanie’s hand back down and said, “Just rest if I tell you not to move.”

She pressed the bell, and soon, the nurse came over to pull out the needle.

The nurse said they could leave the hospital since it was the last group of drips.

Julianna nodded and thanked her, then sat down by the bed.

She wanted to say something but hesitated.

Stephanie looked at her hesitation and smiled, “To be honest, that scene just now did make me feel a heart attack. Julia, I think this is more painful than when the doctor cut my heart out with a scalpel in my previous life. It turns out that it hurts, so much to love someone!”

“Stephie,” Julianna looked at Stephanie’s swollen eyes and couldn’t help sniffing, “Good men are hard to find, but common ones are everywhere. I’ll find someone better and more devoted than Vincent in the future. Vincent is just a pretty face with no substance.”

Stephanie pursed her lips, “I don’t think I will love other men anymore.”

Julianna held her cold hand and said, “Stephie, don’t do this. You don’t live for a man; you liye for yourself! For the sake of… She took a deep breath, put her other hand on Stephanie’s belly, and looked into her eyes, “The baby.”

Upon hearing Julianna’s words, Stephanie’s mouth gaped open in shock.

Being so absorbed in the experiment, Stephanie had forgotten her period.

After carefully reflecting, she realized that her menstrual cycle had been delayed for five days according to the last month’s

duration.

She was nearly five weeks pregnant at her last menstrual period.

Stephanie felt sick at the thought of Olivia being six weeks pregnant.

After Vincent got another woman pregnant, he made her pregnant again.

This made her not happy about being pregnant at all.

13:14 Sat,

If it hadn’t happened, she thought she would be a happy, expectant mother now.

But now, she was silent.

She put her hand on the lower abdomen, inside which was her and Vincent’s child.

Thinking of what she saw tonight, she couldn’t let it go, “Julia.”

Julianna replied, “I’m here.”

“I don’t want this baby.”

There was only silence.

“He came at a terrible time. He was supposed to show up when I fell in love with Vincent, but he showed up in a betrayed relationship. Julia, please help me make an abortion appointment.”

Stephanie’s words made it impossible for Julianna to offer any advice, as Stephanie would ultimately have to take responsibility for the baby once it was born.

If Stephanie thought of Vincent, the betrayer, every time she saw this child, she would never be happy in her life. Julianna nodded and said, “Let’s go back tonight. I will book it for you tomorrow.”

“Okay

“Let me help you put on your shoes. We’ll go home.”

Stephanie nodded slightly and let Julianna take care of her.

They left the hospital and went home. Julianna removed her makeup and closed the bedroom door.

*****At this moment, there was a knock on the door.

Julianna walked over and looked at Graham’s face in the peephole. She seemed to have found a way to vent her resentment for days.

She opened the door and pushed out Graham, who wanted to come in.

“Julia.”

Julianna raised her chin slightly and said, “This is not the place to talk. Go downstairs!”

Graham nodded and said yes.

They went back to Julianna’s house downstairs. As soon as they came in, Julianna questioned Graham, “Do you know that Vincent betrayed Stephie?”

Graham nodded, “I think there is a misunderstanding…” Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

“Misunderstanding?” Julianna interrupted him, “No misunderstanding! Stephie and I were at Tranquil Garden two hours ago when we saw Vincent and Olivia do it personally. The scene was intense!

“How could they do that?”

“How could they do that? Then you should talk to your close friend about this! I wish I had taken photos with my phone! Look at Vincent! He hasn’t even got the divorce certificate yet, and he’s already sleeping with another woman, and they’ve had a child together!”

Julianna jabbed him in the chest and said, “You, Graham, Vincent’s buddy! You’re as bad as he is! Make it today, and I’m busy in the morning. We’ll meet up at my courthouse this afternoon, got it?”

Graham put his hands on her shoulders, “Vincent and Stephanie, don’t come between you and me. Julia, I’m not good at speaking nicely. But I don’t think we should get divorced!”

“Regarding your relationship with Hilda, it’s not entirely clear. What’s the difference between you and Vincent?”

Graham held up three fingers and said, “I swear on my life, I ain’t got nothing to do with Hilda!”

“Who’d believe that?”

“I have resigned her!”

“As soon as this incident occurred, you pushed the woman out to be a scapegoat!”

Graham twitched the corner of his mouth. He felt that he couldn’t explain himself clearly.

He remembered a saying like this, “Bed end of the bed and quarrel.”

He held Julianna in his arms and lowered his head to kiss her.

Julianna didn’t expect Graham to play this trick, so she directly used her trump card and lifted her leg.

Graham grunted and clenched his teeth, “Julia, are you trying to murder your husband?”

Julianna snorted and wiped her mouth in disgust, “Don’t mess with me again. See you at the courthouse at three o’clock this

afternoon!”

She pushed away the seriously injured man and strode away.

After returning upstairs, Julianna washed up carefully. She felt sick at the thought that Graham had kissed another woman, so she understood Stephanie’s decision very much.

But it was a tragedy for this unborn child. Once, he/she was the embodiment of his/her parents‘ love!

She shook her head and decided not to think about it again.

‘Damn men, go to hell!‘ she thought.

After washing up, she went to Stephanie’s bedroom to watch her

In the morning, after Julianna got up, Stephanie was still asleep.

She looked at Stephanie’s pale face and felt distressed.

She would make some breakfast for Stephanie and let the unborn child eat some human food.

After washing up, she left the bedroom and saw Graham cooking in the kitchen.

Julianna was surprised. When she was about to raise her voice angrily, she quickly silenced herself and asked, “What do you

want?”

“Cooking for my wife, Graham says.

“Who is your wife?”

“Julia.”

Julianna glared at him and said, “It’s no use flattering me!”

Graham put

the omelet in the pan on the plate, turned off the heat, and then put his arm around her waist, “Give me another chance. I didn’t handle it well last time, but Hilda and I are immaculate.”

“I don’t believe it,” Julianna pushed Graham’s chest.

Graham recounted the events of that night, saying, “After all, a girl’s reputation is quite important, and I didn’t expect it to be exploited by those with ill intentions. Julia, now you know the truth, shouldn’t you give me a chance? After all, I didn’t make any mistakes.”

“You are Vincent’s brother! I thought of that jerk when I saw you! So goodbye!”

Graham was speechless.

Unbeknownst to them, Stephanie had silently appeared at the kitchen door. She said in a low voice, “Julia, there is no need to be angry. Don’t let what happened between Vincent and me affect your relationship. It’s not easy for you to be together. Give each other a chance.”

Stephanie knew that Julianna loved Graham, and her feelings were like this. But she didn’t want her best friend to be the same as her.

After giving each other a chance, they wouldn’t regret it if it was inappropriate.

Julianna glanced at Graham and said, “Fine. It depends on your performance. If you fail, I’ll immediately see you at the

courthouse.”

Graham looked grateful at Stephanie and said to Julianna, “Don’t worry. I will treat you well.”

Stephanie looked at them and smiled, “Let’s go to the hospital after breakfast.”

Julianna nodded in agreement, “Okay.”

Graham asked, “Aren’t you feeling well?

Julianna kicked his leg and said, “Cut the crap. Make breakfast now!”

Graham sensed something amiss and refrained from inquiring further until they reached the hospital, where he learned that Stephanie was planning to have an abortion.
