Chapter 15 Hate
Everyone looked at this scene in shock.
When hearing the sound, Christian ran over immediately. He glanced at Anastasia, who was calm and
indifferent.
Beatrice leaned against Christian's arms in pain, her forehead covered with blood, and she cried
tremblingly,
"Ms. Graves is still blaming me. She asked me to die and pushed me downstairs. I said I wanted to act,
but she said I wasn't worthy. Christian, will she block me?"
Christian glanced at Anastasia with deep and complicated eyes.
Anastasia walked down the stairs slowly and dignifiedly. Hearing Beatrice's words, she laughed,
"How could I ban you? Ms. Cohen is good at acting. It's a pity not to act."
The people around were in an uproar.
Anastasia was mocking Beatrice.
Christian frowned,
"Anastasia, did you push Beatrice downstairs?"
Anastasia chuckled disdainfully,
"What's the matter? If I say no, would you believe me? What will you do if I say yes."
She didn't explain it, thinking no one would believe her.
If Beatrice liked acting, Anastasia would satisfy her.
Threats were more useful than explanations. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.
"Ms Cohen. If you're keen on acting out being pushed down the stairs. We can try a higher floor next
time."
After she finished speaking, she stepped on her high heels and turned to leave.
Anastasia's strong aura prevented the people around her from asking any more questions.
Anastasia was the newly appointed director of Starlight Entertainment, while Beatrice was an unknown
‘mistress’.
Everyone knew who to support.
Accompanying doctors were prepared at the venue, and Christian brought Beatrice to the lounge.
The banquet continued.
After returning, Derek heard about what had happened just now, and his face was a little gloomy.
Anastasia went over to comfort him with a smile,
"Don't be angry, Derek. She won't seriously hurt herself."
Derek commented on what just happened.
"Disgusting."
Anastasia went to the bathroom halfway.
When she came out, she was surprised to see Christian standing there gracefully, waiting for her.
The hallway was silent.
She walked over indifferently but was grabbed by the arm.
"Anastasia, will you stop messing around?"
Anastasia's indifferent attitude made him feel uncomfortable.
Anastasia shook off his hand.
"None of your business."
Christian frowned,
"The police have made a verdict. She was detained and fined. What else do you want?"
The corridor was quiet, tense, and dull.
Anastasia raised her head abruptly, stared at him, and smiled coldly,
"So, do I still owe her?
"Christian, can the 100 thousand dollars she was fined buy my child's life?"
Christian was stunned.
Her words made his heart shrink suddenly as if it had been pinched hard by someone inadvertently,
causing bursts of throbbing pain.
The veins on his forehead throbbed faintly, and her cold and painful eyes were torturing him.
He was tortured from head to foot.
Christian frowned and pursed his lips, wanting to tell her all secrets.
But thinking of the previous scruples, he still concealed all his emotions. His eyes were deep, and he
said lowly,
"I'm sorry. But it had happened."
He didn't dare to think about that child.
When Anastasia mentioned it, he seemed to suffocate with pain.
Christian clenched his fists with a frown between his brows. He was sorry for that child and Anastasia.
But he had no choice.
"So, you mean that I should forgive because she didn't mean it?"
Anastasia couldn't help raising her voice, and her eyes were frozen.
She thought it ridiculous.
Christian managed to exonerate Beatrice and even paid the compensation.
When Anastasia thought of this, her heart ached, and she couldn't breathe.
She hated them.
He seemed to regret what happened and was sad.
But it was too late!
There was a terrible pain in her chest. She grabbed his collar violently and slammed him into the wall,
saying coldly and deeply,
"Christian, you'd better protect her forever. Otherwise, I will kill her sooner or later, and you too."
