Killer (The Satan Sniper's Motorcycle Club book 5)

Chapter 17 (Killer)

Chapter 17 (Killer)

“Since you delivered him, why don't you name him?” Sienna says and a small smile plays on my lips.

“If you insist,” I say as Frost rolls her eyes, already knowing what I did. We’ve surpassed visiting hours

at the hospital and I can admit, I have enjoyed the time I had holding the baby.

He looks like he was going to be a handful. Venus, After, Mercy and Whisp came around 1 pm to see

them and brought a new outfit for him. They gushed and carried him, Mercy and After fighting for the

last few minutes. Frost disappeared during that time and got us something to eat. My sister knew I

couldn’t be too long without sustenance. Spade, Knight and River came for a visit, bringing Sienna

some cake and fresh clothes. She was getting discharged around 3 this afternoon. The two of us had

lots to talk about.

“Yes, I insist,” She doesn't look at me, which is strange, but I let it slide when my phone rings.

“Yo didn't know you can deliver babies,” The rough voice on the other end says.

“Now you do. Found anything?”

“Nope, but we got a lead, Jade’s getting antsy, how's my kid?” Beggar asks as I get up off the chair I’m

sitting on and move outside the room.

“She's keeping the brothers busy. Knight is permanently at your place.” Since the club started having

babies, we bought the complex space a mile away from the Clubhouse. It wasn't something the other

Chapters did. But with Lucca Sanati still alive, we weren't taking any chances with the kids. Zero,

Beggar and young Talin lived in one house and the Prez and his girls in another.

The place was heavily guarded, and the town knew that if they trespassed, we would shoot to kill. No

questions to be asked.

“I'll be home in a week, Jade and I got a pin,” She clips off the phone, not willing to talk more than she

has to.

Beggar and Jade were hunting down a killer for one of our clients. Zero let her go on the hunts, it’s who

she is. You can't tame a wild beast, let it go free, tire it out. The brother finally figured that out. Took him

a few years too.

Zero finally grew a pair after Talin was born and decided no more tours for him. I was proud of the

asshole for doing right by her. He was content to stay in Kanla and look after his kid, but I knew he was

also tired of the waiting game with Lucca. He wanted this shit done more than his wife.

I walk back into the room and watch my sister, who might be known as Frost. But even she had

emotion in her. It is clear as she rocks the newborn in her arms.

“I doubt he’ll give us any hassle, we should do some online shopping and get all the stuff delivered so

we can set up a room for you,” Frost tells Sienna, and I watch Sienna’s face go from bliss to worry.

“I’m not staying too long. A few things should be sufficient,” Sienna says, and that doesn’t resonate well

with me. Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Your cousin should be allowed to spend some time with her nephew, surely you aren’t in a rush,” I say

and she looks at me, and it’s the first time I see her light green eyes in 20 years. She’s still the same

girl, maybe jaded, but still the same girl.

She looks at Frost and whatever she sees brings a smile to her face, “Of course, I can stay for a while.”

Frost lifts the baby as she stands, “Then it’s settled, we can set you up in the room next to mine. That

way we can have turns when he cries.”

“That’s on the 3rd floor,” Venus says, walking in with Bull. The brother has buffed up more since he

gave up his weed and started taking on more jobs. His bald head is covered with a hat which he takes

off and puts on the empty chair next to the door. He gives me a chin lift.

“There’s a bathroom there. What else could she need?” Frost queries with a glint in her eyes. I’m not

entirely sure about the beef between the two women, and I didn’t want to be sure. Which is the reason I

never found out.

“To get up and down the stairs, have a breather. Kids can be a handful,” Venus explains, but it goes

deaf IN Frost’s ears.

“That’s why I’m there, to help, plus she needs to get the exercise, Sienna’s ass has always been huge,”

Frost argues. I should tell Venus she will not win, which is the reason I say nothing.

“Jesus christ Cuz, can you be more discreet,” Sienna snaps.

“Ag, please, bitch your ass is big, add in that pregnancy fat, I bet it’s doubled in size, but don’t worry,

Spade will train you up and work on those glutes,” Frost informs her, and I grin shaking my head as

Venus rolls her eyes.

“As a matter of fact, I happen to like my ass the way it is. Don’t be red eyeing what you always wanted,”

Sienna snipes and Frost shuts her mouth with a smile and it is then I know my sister was really just

hoping to get a small taste of the old Sienna back.

The two always knew how to work the other one up. Sometimes blood was only thick, it wasn’t binding.

“Is Natasha alright?” Sienna asks, and she’s looking at me, but I have no idea since I didn’t see her. I

left early this morning to check on Talin and give Knight a heads up that we were leaving for Seattle

tomorrow evening.

“She’s good honey, waiting patiently for you two to get out of here, so she can meet her nephew,”

Venus answers and I watch Sienna’s eyes skitter to me for a moment and I wonder what’s going on in

her head.

“She didn’t know I was pregnant, you know. I never told many people,” Sienna informs us, and maybe if

I had some emotion it would soften my wariness toward her, but I don’t feel. So I say nothing.

“She told us, but that is all minor stories. The club will protect her. In the meantime, worry about getting

Mister overhear out of this place and home. Hannah gave me a briefing of your dressings,” Frost goes

into full action.

Since she spoke to Natasha she has avoided hearing about it. But I knew she would have to brief us at

church later tonight.
