Chapter 74
Chapter 74
Alex’s PDV
With a deep breath, I pick up my phone and dial the local police station. My heart races as I prepare to make the call, knowing that this is a crucial moment, I need to report the crimes, provide the location of the cabin, and leave all the evidence we’ve gathered for the police to find.
“Hello, Westerfield station. How may I assist you?” the voice on the other end asks.
“I need to report a series of crimes,” I say, my voice steady but filled with urgency. “There’s a cabin located in the woods off Maple Street. It’s where the perpetrators are currently. You’ll find evidence of harassment, assault, and emotional abuse on the phone.”
There’s a brief pause on the other end as the officer processes the information. Thank you for reporting this,” the officer replies, their tone now serious. “We’ll dispatch a team immediately to the location you provided. Please stay on the line while I gather more information.”
As I wait, I quickly gather all the physical evidence we have and place it in a secure bag. I want to ensure that nothing is left behind and that the police have everything they need to build a strong case.
“Alright, officers are on their way to the cabin, the voice on the phone informs me. “Is everyone there safe?”
“Yes, we’re all safe,” I confirm. “We’ll be leaving the cabin and finding a temporary hideout for the night. We’ll wait for our lawyers to arrive tomorrow before proceeding further.”
“We would much rather you remained where you are sir until the officers arrive…” She requests, as I shake my head.
“We will come round to the station tomorrow. Thanks for listening!” I state bluntly, before ending the line.
*Pack your essentials, We’re leaving the cabin and heading to Aunt Rinna’s place for the night, I announce, my voice filled with a mix of relief and anticipation. “The police are on their way, and they’ll find all the evidence we’ve gathered. We’ll regroup tomorrow with our lawyers. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
Everyone quickly gathers their belongings. We leave the cabin, ensuring that the cellar is locked– the key inside the lock for easier access to the cops. We head out to the car and make our way to Aunt Rinna’s house, a place of safety and solace. It’s a familiar haven where we can rest and gather our Thoughts.
As we settle in at Aunt Rinna’s, the weight of the events begins to sink in. We’ve taken a significant step forward in seeking justice for Lottie and Anna,
The perpetrators will now be in custody, thanks to the evidence we’ve provided. It’s a small victory, but there’s still a long road ahead.
In the comfort of Aunt Rinna’s cozy spare room, Lottie rests her head on my shoulder
1 gently stroke her hair, feeling the weight of the past days finally starting to lift. We’ve endured so much together these past weeks – but I wouldn’t change meeting her for the world.
Lottie’s breathing slows down, and I can tell she’s drifting off to sleep. The nightmares that plagued her will hopefully dissipate, replaced by peaceful dreams. As exhaustion takes hold, I feel myself succumbing to sleep as well, still cradling Lottie in my arms.
The night passes in blissfully, and the early rays of sunlight filter through the curtains sooner than I had hoped, casting a gentle ray over the room.
It’s a new day, and with it comes the hope of progress and justice……..
As the first signs of awakening stir within us, my phone buzzes on the nightstand. I groggily reach for it, blinking away the remnants of sleep. The caller ID reads “Westerfield Police Station.”
Taking a deep breath, I answer the call, ready to face the next steps in this arduous journey. “Hello?”
“Good morning, you called us yesterday regarding a crime?” The voke on the other end greets me. “Our team successfully secured the cabin, and we’ve gathered substantial evidence. We’re now calling to ask if you will come down to the station? If not, I’m afraid we may have to send officers out to find you.” She is polite yet warning..
“Thank you for the update,” I reply, my voice filled with gratitude. “We’ll head to the station as soon as we can. Please let them know we’re on our way.” I end the call.

With a spark, I wake Lottle gently, whispering sweet nothings into her ear as she stirs. She looks at me, smiling softly. I give her a quick update before encouraging her to get up and ready….
We gather our things, expressing our gratitude to Aunt Rinna for her support, and make our way to the car with the rest of the group.
The drive to the police station is filled with a mix of emotions–hope, anxiety, and a lingering sense of uncase.
As we arrive at the station, our lawyers are already waiting for us outside, as I notice them instantly–stood in their their freshly pressed suits. There were four guys and two females in total as
we greet them one at a time…
Together, we step into the station, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead. We know this is just the beginning of a long and difficult process, but we
are not alone.
With our lawyers by our side and the support of the justice system, we are determined to see this through….
As we enter the interrogation room, I cast a peassuring glance at Lottie. We have come so far, and we won’t let anything deter us from seeking justice Anna deserves.
We take our seats, ready to share our story and ensure that those responsible face the consequences of their actions.
The room fills with the sound of voices, the scratching of pens on paper, and the weight of truth that hangs in the air. We know that the road ahead will be difficult, but for Lottie and Anna, we will continue to fight until we witness their persecution.
Nobody messes with my girl and gets away with it…
Not anymore..
“Ok tell us everything Charlotte… from the very start… The officer asks, as I watch Lottie gulp slowly and close her eyes.
“I prefer Lottie now… but sure.”
ic story.
I smile in pride, as her voice comes in confidence as she retells her tragic
My doll…
