“Oh… ermmm… I just wanted to let you know that I was leaving and I wanted to make sure you didn’t need anything else” she stammered.
He nodded. “Oh, that’s fine. I’m good. You can leave. Good night, Miss Sanchez”
“Good night, Mr McCall” Vivian replied and turned to go.
“Miss Sanchez,” Scott called and Vivian turned around again, her hands on the doorknob. “You did great for your first day. Well done.”
Vivian smiled shyly, hoping that he wouldn’t see how red her cheeks had become. “Thank you, sir” she said, then hurriedly opened the door and almost ran out of the room.
__________
“Ohhh…. The office lady is here” Megan said playfully when Vivian came into the restaurant.
Vivian smiled. “Move out of my way, I’m late” she said as she hurried past her to the ladies room to change into her uniform. Her shift would last only four hours, before they closed for the day. She was tired, but she still needed to keep this job. When she finally came out, Megan was waiting.
“What?”
“Come on, tell me about your day. Hope you didn’t screw up.”
“No I didn’t, thank you very much” Vivian replied, “And thanks for helping pick out that outfit. I didn’t feel left out or different in terms of clothing. I can’t tell you how big that company is. I met some really nice coworkers too. They are quite…. Chatty, but I think they are pretty cool.”
“And?….” Megan pressed on.
Vivian gave her a look. “And what?” she asked.
Megan rolled her eyes. “You’re seriously going to make me ask? I mean and…. The boss guy…The handsome Scott McCall. How was he?”
“Ewww… when you say ‘How was he?’ like that, it sounds like you’re asking how sex was with him”
The thought alone made a shiver run down her spine and it was something Vivian didn’t even want to imagine. It wasn’t even going to happen no matter what. She had seen the kind of women Scott dated and she didn’t even come close to any of them. She hadn’t even forgotten the look of disgust on that woman’s face when they both found her in Scott’s hotel room. He was so out of her league and wouldn’t even look her way twice, but she couldn’t deny that she found the thought of sleeping with him quite appealing.
“I never said that,” Megan replied, “But it’s good to know how dirty your mind is. ”
“I’m not having this conversation with you right now. I have work to do.” Vivian said, tying her apron around her waist, “And please, no more talks about Scott McCall”
And definitely no more thoughts about having sex with him.
___________
It was 10:30 pm when Scott finally shut down his laptop and went out of his office. The building was empty, except for the security guards who stayed to make sure every part was safe.
It had been a hectic day, but at least it much better than yesterday when he had no one to assist him. His new assistant, Vivian Sanchez had done a great job for her first day. She was a fast learner as she said and had done exactly what he wanted.
She was also very beautiful too, he thought as he got into the elevator. Beautiful… and curvy. There was something about her… something different from the kind of women he usually went out with.
Simplicity. That’s what it was.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
No over the top attitude to attract him. No excessive makeup and fluttering eyelashes. It wasn’t that he hated those things, he just didn’t like when they were done over excessively.
She was a bit shy too. He’d noticed that she couldn’t meet his gaze most of the time, and she seemed to be in a hurry to leave the room every time he was around. He smiled. It had been a while since he’d met a woman like that.
Shy and reserved, but also smart and sexy. Curvy too, he couldn’t forget that. Most women especially the models he often went out with were always obsessed with their weight and did anything and everything to stay very thin, but Vivian Sanchez was different.
She had a figure he could only describe as ‘slim thick’. She seemed to have the right amount of weight in the right places. Not too large breasts that drew attention to her cleavage, slim waist, thick thighs and a fat, curvy ass. One he couldn’t help staring at when she turned around to leave his office.
Scott got into his car and shook his head. Wishing the thoughts would go away. This was no way to think about his assistant. It was surprising in fact because he’d never thought of anyone he worked with in that manner. He was a man who understood professional relationships, and always kept it that way. He had to put that professionalism to good use now. No matter how attractive she was, he had to put a stop to his thoughts.
Although some company tonight would be great. He hadn’t been with a woman in weeks and since he wasn’t dating Elizabeth anymore, he couldn’t really give her a call. The last thing he also wanted was to give her the idea that he wanted to get back together.
On the other hand, there was some else. He grabbed his phone and sent a text to Olivia, one of the women who had been throwing herself at him every opportunity she got. They both had an understanding…No commitments. She kept him company in times when he needed it , and in return, he simply transferred some money to her. It had been a while since he saw her because he’d been dating Elizabeth, but he knew she’d come. Olivia loved money that much.
By the time he got home and finished taking a shower, Olivia was already at his place and Scott welcomed her with a glass of wine.
“Well hello” she said when he let her in, “I was wondering if you would ever call me again.”
“And I was beginning to think you wouldn’t show up” he said to Olivia as she dropped her bag and took the glass from him.
She giggled. “Oh please” she said, batting her eyelashes. “I’ve been wanting to see you. It’s been quite a while. Besides, you haven’t been returning any of my calls.”
“I’m sorry” Scott said, without feeling any remorse, “But you are here now so I guess I’m forgiven”
