Chapter 15: I'm Sorry, Brother Chow
Chapter 15: I'm Sorry, Brother Chow
From the warning look in his eyes, Vivian knew that if she refused him this time, she would be in
serious trouble.
Chow never allowed her to go against any of his wishes.
Vivian pinched her palms again before lowering her head to wait in silence.
Celine was not aware of the slight changes in Vivian's expression. When she saw that Vivian didn't
protest, the smile on her lips disappeared.
"Let's go." Chow opened the door and walked out.
Vivian knew that this would make Celine upset, but she had no other choice. She quickly nodded at her
and ran out after Chow.
In the blink of an eye, only Celine and Aunt Blaine were left at the door.
It was terrible being the one who was left behind. Celine's face immediately heated up in anger as she
tightly clenched her fists.
"Miss Celine, do you need a ride?" Aunt Blaine asked with an expressionless face.
She was used to Chow's weird behaviour whenever Vivian was around. Even if she thought that
something was amiss, she still didn't want any outsiders to know how she felt.
Hearing Aunt Blaine's words, Celine suddenly came back to her senses. She quickly unclenched her NôvelD(ram)a.ôrg owns this content.
fists and smiled at her. "Yes, please. I arrived with Chow last night and have no transport of my own.
Sorry for troubling you, Aunt Blaine."
With Celine's status, she was reluctant to treat a servant so kindly. However, she had no choice. She
had seen how well Chow treated Aunt Blaine whilst dating him.
Before she successfully married into the Howard family, she would not be so stupid as to offend Aunt
Blaine.
"In that case, please wait at the corner outside. I'll ask Miss Vivian's driver to pick you up."
Usually, Vivian had a designated driver to chauffeur her to school and back. Since Chow decided to
take her to school today, there was nothing else for her driver to do anyway.
"Thank you, Aunt Blaine," Celine said, smiling and nodding at her. She then pushed open the door and
walked out gracefully.
Outside, both Chow and Vivian had long disappeared. Celine looked at the empty road and couldn't
help clenching her teeth in frustration.
Why did she feel that the relationship between Chow and Vivian was not as simple as he said?
If he really hated her as he said, why did he willingly leave his girlfriend behind to send her to school?
Was she thinking too much into it?
Celine frowned. She had worked too hard for too long to secure a place in Chow's heart. No matter
what happened, she would never hand over the title of Mrs. Howard to anyone else.
She must be thinking too much. How could that little b*tch Vivian even compete with her?
It was impossible.
Vivian ran after Chow all the way to his car. However, as soon as she was arriving, she halted in her
footsteps.
Once she got in the car, Chow would surely do whatever he wanted to do to her behind the heavily
tinted car windows.
The fear made her temporarily forget that she was going to be very late for school. Panic was written all
over her face.
Chow's face had darkened since leaving Aunt Blaine. When he sensed that she was deliberately
avoiding him again, he was enraged.
In the end, Chow took out most of his anger on the car. He got in and slammed the door loudly.
Vivian flinched in fright. She knew that she would make him even angrier if she continued avoiding him
like this. She hurried over to the side, opened the door, and slid cautiously into the backseat.
Vivian smoothened out her skirt and waited for Chow to start driving. As soon as she lifted her head,
her eyes suddenly met with Chow's furious gaze.
