Harper didn't suspect Frank's secretary, he just simply wanted to know what Frank's purpose was.

Annie also opened the door and came in at this time.

Harper chuckled lightly and said sarcastically. "If it were you, would you give everything you have for someone who would absolutely never return your love and had told you many times that it was impossible?"
