Chapter 60
Chapter 60
“So far, there is nothing wrong with Lauren but this doesn’t mean anything.” Theresa thought and
raised her eyebrows. She ce believed that if a person was powerful enough, he or she could know
everything in the world but that was not true
Theresa believed that the investigation done by Jeffery was not thorough and there must be something
that they didn’t know about Lauren. So Theresa didn’t believe what Sally said and Dana and Lisa didn’t
believe either. They didn’t believe that Lauren was
a simple woman.
Since Lauren sat in a man’s luxury car, there must be a reason. So Theresa came up with an idea,
“Maybe we can ask a private detect to keep an eye on Lauren and Herman.”
Lisa immediately glared at Theresa and said, “Are you crazy? If Herman knows…”
Theresa’s face turned pale, knowing she went too far so she quickly said, “I am just kidding.”
Dana frowned and said, “If Lauren really has a relationship with Herman, we will know.”
Lisa, Dana, and Theresa stayed until after seven o’clock in the evening. Sally did not leave with them
but went back to her room
to rest.
Before Lauren came back to the Bennett family, she was a little wary of her but after these days, Sally
had already lost her
defense. Lauren was completely different from what Sally imagined. She was super cool and calm as if
she cared about nothing.
Even though the Bennett family was one of the most powerful families, Lauren still decided to move out
and did not show up for more than half a month, as if she had nothing to do with the Bennett family.
These days, Sally even sometimes forgot Lauren.
Jeffery rarely returned home, but it was because he had a lot of work to do so Sally could often hear his
name at home. Lauren was different. She had nothing to do with the Bennett family. She didn’t stay in
the Bennett family and she didn’t want work at Bennett’s company. Even the shares of the company
that Grandpa gave her were entrusted to Jeffery.
Sally was a little confused. Didn’t Lauren care about money at all? Holding the pillow on the bed,
Sally’s mind was a mess and the really couldn’t think of any answer, so she took her phone and called
her mother Mona.
Deep down in her heart, Sally looked down on Mona, feeling that she was simple-minded and
foolhardy, but Sally admitted th Mona had great intuition. Although Mona was not smart, she had good
instincts. The reason why Mona could stay with Mr. Bennet or so many years was that she knew what Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
