Her Wicked Ceo (Abigail and Liam)

Chapter 17

Chapter 17

She was so intent on quitting that she forgot about the contract.

She stood there and looked at Liam, frowning. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

"What? Miss Swift, have you made your decision?" Liam asked back with a smile.

Abigail stood there, thinking about the two. And she still felt that it was better to resign now.

Abigail nodded. "I will pay for it!"

This sentence was beyond Liam's expectations.

He narrowed his eyes and looked at Abigail in disbelief. "Double the penalty. It seems that Miss Swift is

really rich."

"Enough for the compensation." Abigail smiled and said, even though she really didn't want to spend

her money in this way.

All these years of savings would probably drain away once.

"OK, in that case, I won't say anything more. Two million dollars. When Miss Swift pays the

compensation, I'll approve your resignation."

'What?'

'Two million!'

Abigail looked at Liam in disbelief, "Two million?"

"Yes, what? Didn't you see it clearly when you signed the contract? I’m not even pursuing any losses of

the Powerline Group from you." Liam said.

Upon hearing this, Abigail was a little incredulous. She walked over, picked up the contract on the desk,

and looked at it, word by word.

That was exactly what the contract said.

In fact, Abigail only had a million from her years in London.

How could she get another one million?

Abigail stood there, not knowing what to say.

"What? Didn't you see it clearly when you signed the contract?" Liam looked at her and asked.

Abigail stood there, completely silent.

Indeed, when she signed the contract, she was so eager to enter the Powerline Group that she did not

consider this at all. However, she did not expect that the president of the Powerline Group was Liam,

which disrupted all her plans and arrangements.

Standing there, Abigail hesitated.

Looking at Abigail, Liam raised a determined smile.

After a long time, Abigail came back to her senses. She looked at Liam and said, "I need time to

prepare."

Hearing this, Liam said, "Miss Swift, I don't have that much time to wait for you."

"I will do it as soon as possible."

"OK, I'll just give you two days. If you haven’t paid for the breach of contract in two days, then don't

blame me." Liam said.

'Two days?'

Hearing this, Abigail stared at Liam. He obviously did this on purpose.

"Mr. Jones, two million in two days. How can I do that?"

"That's your business," Liam said.

Abigail, "..."

Looking at Abigail's angry face, Liam suddenly smiled. "Miss Swift, if you continue working, then none

of these things would matter."

"Mr. Jones, the Powerline Group is such a big group, so I'm not important. I just wonder that why you

couldn't let me go. Or, maybe you have ulterior motives!" Abigail looked at Liam as she accused him.

Hearing this, Liam froze and raised his eyebrows.

'Is this woman challenging me?'
