Chapter 15: 15. furious
The door knob turned anti clockwise direction.
They both stared at the door, waiting for someone to open the door.
The person at the opposite side of the door was trying to open the door.
Zella rubbed her face and went to washroom. Lance waited for Zella to come back from washroom.
The door opened, Percy entered the room and saw Lance sitting on her bed. He gave a hard smile, his
eyebrows were furrowed.
"Where is Zella?" He questioned Lance.
Lance didn't like the way Percy acted. He has some sort of tension in his face.
"Any problem Percy?" Asked Lance.
"Well, How did you people suddenly appeared in this room when nobody was here few minutes
before."
"Well we climbed through balcony."
"Is that so?" Percy cocked his brow.
"Then why did you went to darkforest ?"Percy asked with a manly tone.
"We were walking. Nothing much." Lance stood from his place.
Zella came from washroom and saw Lance and Percy sitting in her bed facing away from each other.
She thought in her mind 'what is wrong with these guys.'
"I saw Lance striking you to the ground." Said Percy seriously.
There was a dark silence between the three in that room.
"It was a game". Said Zella without giving any suspicion to Percy.
"Zella, I know Lance from years and I told you that this guy is weird and everyone is scared of him.
Stay away from him if he hurts you, then"Percy gives a serious look to Lance, " And you, don't even
dare to hurt my Zella."
"Percy" Zella called him by his name.
Percy banged the door and went out of the room. Lance and Zella couldn't find out why this weird
drama is happening now. But she happy that she has someone to help her and care for her.
She apologized to Lance for Percy behaving this way. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
Lance pats her and he leans towards her.
He walks away from bed to the balcony.
"Lance, wait. Where are you going ?"
" should I stay?"
" if you don't mind, yes for some time."
He lay her down on his lap. He brushes her hair.
" Don't worry Zella."
"I have few questions to ask?" She asked with anxious.
"Yes"
" what is this red stone? Why is he behind me?"
"Well, red stone is a symbol of peace between vampire and humans. And it is also a power to rule
against everyone. So if in wrong hands, he can destroy the world."
" why me?"
" that may be the question you have to ask your family. I cant explain everything to you."
" so, you say Hance is a bad vampire. Who is coming to steal my necklace for some power."
" he came to steal your life and the necklace"
Zella's eyes widened when she heard these words. Fear struck on her heart. Her hands where
shivering. Lance hold her tight to calm her down.
" so you suck blood, like you have fangs."
" hmm hmm" he nodded. "You saw them right."
"So, do you get burnt due to sunlight?" This question made Lance to laugh hard.
"No Zella, thats are myths. Sunlight can't burn our skin but this red stone can."
She nodded her head. " you hate garlic?"
" I do because I don't likes its taste."
"What if there comes a day when you wanted to kill your evil brother?" Her eyes were on his.
"I can't and I won't. Because he is my brother and I...I...." he sighed " I don't know."
She is eager to ask many questions but she heard her mom calling her from downstairs.
"I think I must leave before your mom comes here" and he left the place.
" hmm.." she nodded and gave him a fine smile.
While jumping down from the balcony he turned back to see her.
" Don't hate me Zella"
She gave him a smile again. He went away from her room. She is totally in her thoughts. She thought
of asking her parents about the necklace and her foresight ability.
She soon learnt that day that the limitations of vampires were fables put about by their own kind. They
were no more afraid of garlic and crucifixes than cupcakes with extra frosting. They were particularly
proud of the wooden stake rumour since they made awfully good kindling for the fires. Drinking blood
was all so last century, there was nothing better for them than a freshly roasted human youth.
Zella wanted nothing more than to lay down and be enveloped by the warmth of silence. Whether she
wanted to rest permanently or not, she did not know. She never would have though silence would be
considered warm but there she was laying in her bed prepared to be swept away by the hope that her
sleep would be filled by light.
