The bodyguards were all talk, no bite when it came to actually pointing a gun at Flora. If they were really going to do it, they would've pulled the trigger by now.

First off, Flora was the family's savior, having saved the patriarch's life, and for that alone, the Reyes family owed her. They wouldn't harm her unless it was absolutely unavoidable. Plus, Flora was Connor's sweetheart. If something happened to her while she was under their watch, Connor would have no qualms about taking the Reyes family down.

Still, they couldn't just stand around and let Flora continue causing chaos.

The lead bodyguard paused for a moment, then suddenly reached out to grab Flora's shoulder!

They had to stop her, but without using guns, they had no choice but to get physical.

He hadn't taken Flora seriously at first, thinking she was just a fragile young woman with no real strength. The gun in her hand was the only thing that made him cautious.

"What are you doing? Don't hurt Flora!"

"Be careful! Don't harm the lady!"

Adrian and the butler shouted almost in sync as they saw the bodyguard make his move.

They were worried he might be too rough and end up hurting Flora, but-

Flora sidestepped in a way that seemed almost supernatural, dodging the bodyguard's attempt so swiftly that nobody could quite catch how she did it.

The bodyguard was taken aback, his expression turning serious, no longer underestimating her.

He reached out again for Flora's shoulder. This time, Flora stood her ground.

Just as his hand was about to make contact, Flora effortlessly grabbed his arm. With her other hand, she caught him by the waist and lifted him with ease.

In a flash, she had hoisted a grown man into the air.

Then, with a swift motion, she slammed him down onto the ground!

The other bodyguards snapped out of their shock, anger bubbling up. They had always treated Flora with respect, but she had taken it too far by dealing them such a harsh blow! "Ms. Flora, that was uncalled for!"

"Let's get her!"

They knew it was a bit humiliating for so many grown men to gang up on one woman, but after seeing Flora's strength, they really had no other option.

Facing her one-on-one, she could easily send them flying with just a punch!

But they wouldn't hurt Flora; they just wanted to restrain her, calm her down, and stop the ruckus.

Flora watched them charge at her, a cold smile playing on her lips.

This time, she didn't even budge; truthfully, she couldn't be bothered.

"Watch out not to hurt Flora!"

Adrian kept yelling, even though Flora had just shown how fierce she was. If they weren't on opposing sides, he'd be applauding her. But no matter what, Flora was still a girl. Facing this many men, surely she couldn't handle it! No sooner had he finished talking than the once-threatening bodyguards, without even touching Flora, crumpled to the floor like puppets with cut strings, unable to stand back up.

"What did you do to us?" the bodyguards looked at Flora in terror, wondering why they suddenly couldn't muster any strength.

"Yeah, Flora, what did you do to them?" Adrian was just as curious.

Flora gave Adrian, who seemed way too excited, a blank look.

Was he really that clueless?

More so than Kruz?

She was putting his men in their place.

She wouldn't kill them, though.

The bodyguards were almost in tears.

Young master, Flora's causing mayhem, and it's your house she's targeting. Seeing us get beaten and still being so thrilled, is that really okay?

Ryan felt a wave of relief. The lady was even stronger than they'd imagined. That was a good thing.
