Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover

Chapter 607

Chapter 607

Ricky's body was jerking uncontrollably. His head had a gaping hole, with blood pouring out nonstop. The ground quickly turned a shocking shade of red. After a while, his body finally lay still.

Lisa stood there, stunned, after firing that shot. Earlier in the car, she'd seized the moment when Ricky wasn't paying attention to snatch his handgun right out of his jacket pocket. For her, it was as easy as pie; she'd been a master at picking pockets since she was a kid.

Everything had gone just as planned, except for Chloe still being alive. There was no way she was letting Ricky leave the country. Whether Chloe made it or not, Ricky had to go.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Lisa's heart was pounding like crazy. When she pulled that trigger, she didn't think much about it. But now, staring at the pool of blood, her fingers began to shake. She remembered that time she plunged a knife into John, a scene she'd played over and over in her mind throughout her life. She finally did it.

The moment she killed John, she was terrified, trembling all over. But deep down, she felt a rush of satisfaction, like she'd finally cut out a cancerous growth. Just like now. Looking at Ricky lying there, lifeless, she suddenly chuckled, "Ricky, you should have been more careful. This isn't my first rodeo."

Ricky never saw it coming-he never imagined she was capable of killing him. But this wasn't her first time at the rodeo. Whether it's one person or two, it's still a capital offense.

Laughing heartily, Lisa watched as the blood reached her feet. She quickly stepped back, not wanting a drop of this dead rat's blood on her. She pulled out gloves and tissues she had prepared beforehand. With the gloves on, she wiped her prints off the gun, then carefully placed it back in Ricky's hand. She also fished his phone out of his pocket-no way could she let any evidence of their communication surface.

Standing up, she caught a glimpse of Ricky. His eyes were wide open, pupils blown out in death, his face ghostly pale, yet his expression was like some demon glaring at her. A chill ran down her spine.

"This is on you, Ricky," she murmured. "If you want to blame someone, blame Chloe. If it weren't for her, you'd still be breathing."

Once she had everything set up, Lisa

opened the window. She flicked on a

lighter, igniting a suitcase full of paper money. Flames leapt up instantly. A gust of wind sent the burning paper everywhere, engulfing the sofa, bed sheets, and curtains. The house was ablaze in no time. Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org

When the paper money was nearly all gone, Lisa dashed out the door, screaming, "Help, help... Murder! There's been a murder..."

Her cries pierced through the night. A few folks in the neighborhood poked their heads out. Hardly anyone lived there anymore, just a handful of elderly folks. And as the fire grew, everyone was jolted awake.

Soon, people started gathering. Lisa slumped to the ground, looking every bit the panicked mess. "There's been a murder," she gasped.

An older man asked, "Young lady, what happened?"

"Ricky tried to kill me," she said, her

voice shaky. He murdered someone took me hostage, and when he knew he couldn't get away, he tried to set the place on fire to take us both out. I barely escaped. Then he killed himself. You've got to back me up." Content belongs to NovelDrama.Org
