Damian’s Obsession

28

I yawned tiredly as I stood up from the bed. I scratched my sleepy eyes before I stared at the other side of the bed.

I noticed Damian wasn’t there but I didn’t mind. He might have woken up early today. I went straight to the bathroom.

I picked my tooth brush and put some tooth paste on it, then I used it to brush my teeth. When I was done, I rinsed my mouth and face.

I looked up to stare at my reflection on the mirror. I smiled when I saw that I’m really glowing lately. It wasn’t like before that I have to force a smile on my face while thinking about the misfortunes I have been passing through.

I have decided to leave things as it is which my mind feel more at rest. Since the past two weeks after Damian and I made up, I’ve never fought with him. Besides petty quarrels in which he begs me later and I’ll forgive him.

That’s how the cycle has been between us. I really commend him for his gentle man behavior. Like I said before, I decided to let things go so I asked Damian to release Roman.

I understand he hurt me deeply. Despite being a douchebag, he is also a very close friend if Damian. I wouldn’t really like it if Damian lost his friends because of me.

Besides, he has known him longer than he has known me. Damian didn’t agree to my request at first but after enough pleading from me, he released Roman and even reconciled with him. More like Roman begged for Damian’s forgiveness. funny right??

As usual, Grey still treats me like I’m someone who wants to pull Damian away from people close to him. Despite me being the reason that Damian and Roman are now on good terms but I didn’t care about him.

The only thing that matters right now is that I and Damian are now reconciled. Also, we always have several make up session but no sex yet even though we sleep on the same bed every night and even cuddle.

He says he’ll wait till I’m ready but I can see he’s taking every strength in him to hold back. I really commend him for his gentle man like behaviors.

I know you guys are probably thinking that I was just bluffing when I said I wanted to stay far from him because I didn’t want to fall in love with him.

Honestly, that was the plan at first but it was really hard considering all he has done for me and the fact that we live in the same house.

Besides, it’s not like anyone in my shoes would be able to resist that hottie. His beautiful smile that emerges whenever he is teasing me, dark hazel eyes that looks like he’s staring deep at my soul when he is staring at me, his very toned abs, his husky voice that makes my panties wet whenever he talks.

I could go on and on. It is like I’ve fallen for him yet. I just decided to tread softly and see where our relationship goes. Whatever happens, happens.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

I touched the place where I had those bruises and smiled when I didn’t see any of those purple spots. Like Felix had predicted, the bruises were gone.

I quickly took my bath bore I walked out of the bathroom, with a short towel tied around my chest. I walked into the closet and picked a hoodie and a short to match from the wardrobe.

I put it on and walked back into the room. Feeling bored staying in the room alone, I decided to go look for Damian.

………………………..

I walked downstairs and was surprised to see a crowd of workers surrounding the kitchen. They were straining their necks to see whatever was going on inside while murmuring to themselves.

I got curious and wanted to see what was going on but couldn’t because they were all obstructing my view. So, I decided to ask around.

“What’s going on??” I asked a maid who was also looking towards the kitchen.

“The boss is cooking in the kitchen.” She answered with her back facing me.

“So??” I asked not really understanding what was going on.

“Are you a new maid that you don’t know that the boss never goes to the kitchen him…..” Her eyes widened in shock when she turned back to see that I was the one asking her.

“Good morning miss.” She greeted in respect.

“Morning.” She was about to leave when I called her back.

“Yes miss??” She answered with her head bowed.

“What did you mean when you said that Damian has never entered the kitchen before?” I asked.

“The boss has never cooked before. I don’t even think he actually cooked before.” She answered.

“So why is he there now?” I asked in surprise.

“I don’t know why. He just entered the kitchen and sent every one out. He said he wanted to make breakfast today.” She answered.

I nodded before I dismissed her. I managed to smuggle through the crowd of workers before I entered the kitchen.

I met Damian sweating and struggling with the pancakes he was frying. There were even some burnt ones in the waste bin. It seems like he had never done it before.

Why the sudden interest this morning?

“That’s not how you flip it.” I said when I had finally seen enough.

He turned back to stare at me in surprise.

“You are awake.” He said as he turned off the cooker.

“How could I continue sleeping when the smell of burnt pancakes kept interrupting my sleep.” I joked as I turned to look at the wasted pancakes.

“I wanted to prepare something special for you this morning but I guess I overdid it.” He answered looking flustered.

Well, that’s a first. I never ever thought that I would see the almighty Damian look flustered.

“You didn’t really overdo it. Just a few mistakes that can be rectified.” I said as I walked towards him and threw away the pancake on the pan as it was already burnt.

I picked up the bowl of mixed pancake and was surprised to see that it was empty.

“I used it up.” Damian said, scratching his head nervously.

He looked really cute. I had the urge to laugh but I held myself. I picked the flour and mixed it with the other pancake ingredients while Damian watched me carefully.

His eyes were filled with admiration when I fried the first set accurately.

“See, it isn’t that hard like you make it seem.” I said as I placed it on a plate and gave him to taste.

He smiled in admiration when he tasted it.

“How’s it???” I asked.

“Delicious. Where do you learn how to do it?” He asked.

“The internet.” I answered.

“Okay.” He said as her kept munching hungrily on the pancake, making me smile.

“What made you just wake up and decide to cook even if you don’t know how to cook?” I asked as I flipped the pancake I was frying.

“I wanted it to be an early morning surprise for you.” He answered.

“Why??” I asked in surprise as I placed the fried pancake on a plate before turning off the cooker.

“Don’t tell me you have forgotten.” He said.

“Forgotten what??:” I asked in confusion.

He gave me a ‘are you serious?’ look when he saw my confused expression.

“Today’s your birthday.”
