Chapter 1003
Chapter 1003
"Theo, no matter what the test results are, you can't keep torturing your stomach," Aurora said, her voice filled with concern as she held his hand against her cheek. "Now that you have me, you have to think about me. You can't keep neglecting your health."
Theodore nodded, murmuring, "Okay. Alright, I promise."
"Theo, could you lie down and hold me for a while? I suddenly feel a bit anxious."
Aurora's fragile and helpless demeanor made it hard for Theodore to refuse.
"Alright, lie down," he said. He pressed a button, and the head of the hospital bed slowly lowered.
Aurora lay back on the bed and Theodore lay down beside her, pulling her into his arms. She cupped his face, closed her eyes, and kissed his lips. Theodore gripped the back of her head and responded passionately, exchanging warmth and affection.
He kissed her fiercely and fervently, the world around him disappearing.
Justin finally pulled through and was out of danger. After waking up, he was transferred to a regular ward.
Sunlight streamed through the window, filling the quiet room with a warm and peaceful atmosphere.
Justin lay in bed, the weariness in his body slowly fading. His gaze softened as it rested on Rosalie, who was sitting by his bed.
She looked at him with concern, but as soon as she saw him awake, she breathed a sigh of relief and her eyes sparkled with reassurance. "Justin, you're finally awake."
She was so beautiful. Her smile was like sunlight, warming his heart.
Justin was momentarily caught off guard. His lips parted slightly. "What did you call me?"
Rosalie said, "Justin. You asked me to remember this name. I've always remembered it, and I'll never forget it."
A smile appeared on Justin's lips. He was starting to like his name.
He had always lived as 'Vincent,' with an alias given to him by outsiders called 'Hades'.
Justin was a name he hadn't used
for a long time. It was the name his parents had given him. It was also the name his younger sister used to call him.
However, after his parents died and his sister died, he didn't use it anymore.
At that time, he didn't know why he felt like he was going to die, so he told Rosalie his name.
He had heard that if a person died and no one remembered their name, their soul would be lost forever. So, he told Rosalie his name and his sister's name because he trusted her
If Rosalie hadn't been there, he would never have told anyone. He felt only Rosalie was worthy of knowing it.
"Thank you for calling me by this name. Thank you."
His eyes reflected deep emotions as he silently admired every expression of Rosalie. His heart seemed to be beating faster than normal, but he
also knew that she only saw him as the person who had saved her life.
"Why are you thanking me?" Rosalie asked, confused.
She should be the one thanking him. She had been captured by those gangs and he had protected her. He had even taken bullets for her. When Theodore and Sebastian saved her, he thought they were the bad guys. He had rushed to tackle her to the ground and held her close. No matter how dangerous it was, he always thought of helping her escape, even if it cost him his life.
A man who was a complete stranger to her was willing to lose his life for her. Rosalie couldn't help but be grateful. Anyone would be.
She wanted to do something for her benefactor. Otherwise, what difference was there between her and an animal?Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
