Billionaire’s Missing Darling

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Faced with Amelia’s soft and pleading gaze, Olivia finally gave in.

In fact, she didn’t want to make things so messy.

But she had strict rules. When she was bullied, she would definitely seek revenge. When she was helped, she would also repay the favor.

There was more than one solution to anything. If she really wanted to fall out with the Taylor family and refuse to forgive Emma resolutely, she would have called the police and sent the witness and confession to the police station.

If she didn’t do it, it meant that she didn’t blame them deep down.

If they just gave up and apologized, she would take the opportunity to forgive them.

Unfortunately, they chose to threaten her with family connections and violence.

Olivia lowered her eyebrows, her long, curly eyelashes obscuring the stillness in her eyes.

“They think I’m an orphan girl, have no background, no backers. So, I can be bullied at their will?” she said inwardly.

She had rarely been on the lower hand in her 20–odd years.

Even if she had to give in for some reason, it was her initiative to retreat, not because she couldn’t win.

To take the Taylor family as an example, Olivia did not believe that they would be so superficial. The daughter in the family did something wrong. Instead of coming forward to apologize, they had the younger son commit violence and use verbal threats.

The solution was extremely brutal and crude.

“The reason for this was simply that the victim was me.

“I’m the lost daughter of the Taylor family, so they used their authority as seniors to coerce me, but they never think that they have not fulfilled. their responsibility to raise me.

“Also, because I’m an orphan, there are no families behind me. Although I’m an adult, I am not strong enough to face the challenge alone, so they bullied me because I had no one supporting me.

“The biological parents that should have supported me are now bullying me.

“It’s funny,” said Olivia inwardly.

She did not directly promise Amelia that she would forgive Emma but walked to the sofa in the living room slowly, sat on it, and supported her head with one hand. She blinked her beautiful eyes which were exactly like Amelia’s and looked at everyone in the house.

She said, “I can forgive her.”

Everyone relaxed the tension in their hearts.

“I have a condition, though,” added Olivia.

When they heard this, the hearts of the Taylor family members skipped a beat.

David spoke up first, “What’s the condition?”

Olivia glanced at him casually, then quickly withdrew her gaze, and landed her gaze on Emma. “An eye for an eye. I’ll hire someone to scare her, too. But don’t worry. I won’t really harm her. I just want to scare her.”

“You are insane!” Samuel roared furiously.

Amelia also looked at Olivia with disapproval in her eyes and said, “It’s not right to fight violence with violence.”

David’s face turned red with anger. If it weren’t for Liam upstairs, he would have rushed up and beat Olivia up.

“Olivia!” He pointed at Olivia’s nose. “If you dare to do something to Emma, I will kill you!”

Olivia ignored the excited crowd. She did not speak but just looked at everyone fixedly.

Samuel and Amelia frowned their brows, not understanding what she meant, asking, “What are you looking at?”

Olivia put on a slight smile. “I just want to feel it.”

“Feel what?” David didn’t understand what she was talking about.

Olivia replied, “Feel what it’s like to be cared for by my parents. If my biological parents saw me being bullied, they would probably be like this.”

Her sentence successfully silenced the three people in front of her.

On the upstairs, Liam looked coldly at what was happening downstairs. He finally let out a sigh and went downstairs slowly with the support of the servant.

He came to the center of the crowd and sat in the main seat in the center.

He first turned to look at Olivia and then instructed the butler, “Send Miss Olivia back to her room to rest.”

After Olivia left, Liam turned to Emma and instructed the servant, “Send Miss Emma back to her room.”

His sentence determined the identities of the two.

Emma changed from the only Miss Taylor to Miss Emma.

Emma’s expression changed slightly. She did not dare to ask Liam and could only look at Amelia for help.

But Amelia didn’t speak for her this time. –

Olivia’s words still echoed in Amelia’s mind. “If my biological parents saw me being bullied…”

“I am her mother. What on earth am I doing? How could I force my own daughter like this?” she said inwardly.

After the two young ladies left, Liam stopped giving respect to Samuel and hit him twice brutally with his cane.

Samuel did not dare to hide. He stood still and let Liam beat him.

“What are you doing, you villain!” Liam’s face turned red with anger. “You are in your 50s. Is this how you do things? Coercing the daughter you lost just at the first encounter with her?”

Samuel remained silent.

Liam beat him a few more times to vent his anger before turning his gaze to Amelia. Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

For his daughter–in–law, Liam couldn’t reprimand her, let alone hit her. He could only say, “Do you know what Olivia told me before?”

Amelia lowered her eyes.

Liam let out a sigh. “She didn’t intend to pursue Emma’s fault at all. You are smart people. Your several children are already adults. Why don’t you think about it? If Olivia really wants to pursue it, will she still stand here? She would already send the evidence to the police station!

“She respected you in her heart, but as her parents, you don’t think about her at all.

“She had been lost for 18 years and must have gone through much suffering. She was alone out there with no parents and no brothers. She was all on her own. She must be looking forward to having a family, and you, look what you’ve done!”

The more Liam talked, the more he got angry. He pointed at David. “And you, you brat! What were you doing? She is your sister. You can’t hit a stranger at will, let alone your own sister.”

After finishing speaking, he saw that David was still a little unconvinced. He sighed in his heart and said, “You think Olivia really can’t beat you? She is an orphan and has struggled to survive since she was a child. Her body was much stronger than your useless showmanship trained in the gym. She can even subdue that strange villain, let alone you.

“Tell me!” Liam pointed to David’s nose. “Tell me. Why didn’t she hit you? Why didn’t she beat you to death?”

When he heard this, David’s expression finally changed.

He understood his grandfather’s words. Olivia showed mercy to him. It was not that she couldn’t win him. She just couldn’t bear it.

When he realized this, the big boy’s eyes reddened a little, and he felt uncomfortable, but he couldn’t put away his pride. He roared before turning around and running away.

“I didn’t ask her to do it!”

Taking advantage of everyone’s guilt toward Olivia, Liam announced, “I will hold a welcome dinner for Olivia in half a month.”

This was as it should be. The long–lost daughter of the Taylor family had been found. It was indeed necessary to announce it to the public.

Samuel and Amelia nodded, both agreeing to it.

However, Liam’s following words made the two petrified on the spot.

“Since Olivia has returned, the shares that belong to her will also be given to her!”

Samuel asked dumbly, “What about Emma?”

Liam looked at him meaningfully. “Emma is not the blood of the Taylor family.”

Hearing this, Samuel was left speechless.
