Chapter 12 Being Made Difficult by Susie
Chapter 12 Being Made Difficult by Susie
"Mr. Jones, do not be so ..." Jane was not used to having such close contact with him. Her face was
burning hot, and she instinctively tried to push him away.
"This is the last time." He reached out to lift her chin and looked her in the eye. "Next time if you still call
me Mr. Jones, I am going to kiss you directly."
Jane saw the word "seriously" in his eyes. She knew this guy was not kidding, so she quickly changed
her words. "Jeffery."
"Your tone should be a little bit softer."
"Jeffery......"
"You should pronounce the last syllable sexier."
Jane almost gnashed his teeth. "Jeffery..."
This time, before she could finish her words, Jeffery had already lowered his head and kissed her lips.
"Mmph..." Jane's eyes widened as she looked at the magnified handsome face in front of her.
"This is your reward." Jeffery smiled and pinched her cheeks. "Little girl, I'll give you three months.
Within those months, you must fall in love with me."
The next day, Jane followed Jeffery to work at the company and officially assumed the position as
secretary to the president.
However, by the time they were on their way, she had already made a deal with Larry, asking him not to
reveal their relationship at the company.
She didn't want all colleagues to gossip that she had hooked up with the CEO.
But things went contrary to her wishes.
"Are you Jane?" As Jeffery walked to the cash register, another of Jeffery's secretaries looked at her
with a strange look.
"Yes." Jane nodded, not noticing the strange look.
"Since you are new here and unfamiliar with the daily affairs of the CEO, let us start with simple things
like serving tea and water. Follow us so you can learn."
The secretary continued, "There are a few documents on your table that have been signed by the
president. They will be sent to each department. The one given by Susie is extremely important. You
must send it to her personally."
"Yes,ma'am."
She nodded and agreed.
In her heart, however, she actually resisted the matter because she did not want to face that woman
after what had happened at Larry and Susie's wedding. NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.
But after all, it was business. She told herself be professional, it was business and she should not mind
her personal feelings
She calmed her emotions, sorted out the documents and sent them to Susie's department.
Susie took the file with a sneer and glanced at it. Then she got up and walked to the staff office outside,
clapping her hands.
"Look, everyone. This is Jane from our department. She failed to seduce my boyfriend and then
seduced my cousin. Now she is the secretary of the president. Maybe she will become the president's
wife of our group one day. Don't you think so, Secretary Jane?"
Jane's face turned red. She clenched her fist and said in both embarrassment and anger, "No, I didn't.
This isn't the case......"
"No? You didn't seduce my husband at my wedding or didn't sleep with my cousin?"
Susie interrupted her and ruthlessly mocked her. "Everyone should flatter Jane. she'll help you guys
blow the pillow while she's on the same bed with my cousin one day, and let you guys get promoted as
well."
The crowd sneered.
Jane felt like her brain was about to explode. She was afraid that if she continued to stay, she would
not be able to help but hit others, so she turned around decisively and wanted to leave.
But someone next to her deliberately stuck out her foot and tripped her.
Jane was inattentive and stumbled to the ground. Susie took the opportunity to pick up the coffee on
the table and poured it over her.
"I'm sorry, Miss. Carter. I accidentally slipped my hand. You shouldn't argue with me over such a small
thing, right?"
The woman took a few pieces of paper and pretended to wipe it for her. Before Jane could speak,
Susie's sarcastic voice sounded again, "That's hard to say. She's now my cousin's favorite. Maybe one
day he will go and tell on you and make you lose your job."
Hearing that, Jane, who was wetted with coffee, turned around and glared at her.
"Oh, Secretary Jane is furious. Hurry up and get away, or you'll be in trouble when she falls." Susie
smiled and gave her another stab.
Jane gritted her teeth, grabbed the napkin next to her and ran out directly.
The laughter of those people rang.
She went to the bathroom and cleaned up the coffee stains on her body. Looking at herself in the
mirror, she wanted to cry.
