Chapter 7
ELENA’S MOTHER:
Demon smiled at that. “Of course you know I love my wife and I will do anything in my power to make her breathe again. She has sacrificed a lot for me and this is the only way I can repay her.” Demon said.
“Good, don’t lose focus once you are in Paris, get me the princess soul.” Hades told him.
“I have never failed before in my mission Hades and I won’t now.” Demon said.
“I am counting your words on that Demon, talk to you later.” Hades said and the shadows disperse.
He went to the bathroom and pulled out his black Ninja clothes and quickly took his bath.
Once he was done, he arranged his Ninja clothes into his bag he brought along with and went to lay on the bed.
He has a long day tomorrow. First going to Paris and secondly, finding out the school his heart would go for. One thing he trusts is his heart. It has saved him many times.
Closing his eyes, he slept off. His last thought before sleep took over was about the princess.Content rights by NôvelDr//ama.Org.

The morning sun shone on Elena’s face as she scrunched her eyes and turn her back to the sun.
“Up up sleeping beauty,” Jess said as she opened the curtain on the window wide for the sun to touch Elena the more.
“Give me some minutes auntie,” Elena said covering her face and body with her bedsheets.
“Nope, your father is on the phone, he wants to speak to you. There was an attack last night in the palace, the assassin was there,” Jess said knowing that would clear the sleep away from Elena’s eyes.
What Jess said made Elena to open her eyes and jump out of bed.
“What did you just say?”
“Talk to your father, he will explain things better than me,” Jess said thrusting the phone with her into Elena’s hand and walking out of her room saying. “I am going to wake your sister now.”
Placing the phone in her ear she greeted her father and faced the opened window.
“Good morning father, Auntie Jess just told me something which I am hoping is not true,” She said slowly, waiting to hear her father saying it was a prank.
“Elena I was right after all. The assassin choose my daughter as his next target but he came too late.” King Eramus voice was heard at the other end of the phone.
“So what auntie said is true?”
“Yes, very true. Thank goodness I listened to my instincts to send you and your sister away yesterday if not it would have been a different story for me today,” King Eremus said.
“If I was there father, I would take him down and silence him forever,” Elena said. “He should thank his stars, it wasn’t me he met.” She added.
“It is not as easy as you think. He killed two strong Ninjas Elena, he killed those girls.” King Eremus said. “If he can kill them what made you think yours is any different? He is a strong killer.” He added with seriousness.
“He? The assassin is a he?” Elena asked. The assassin which the kingdoms that are victims of his kills didn’t know what sex he is. Now it is a man.
“Yes, a man that is killing all the Princesses,” King Eremus said in affirmative.
“How did you know the assassin is a man?”
“One of the girls told me before she was brutally killed in front of me. The assassin is evil and heartless.” King Eremus answered.
“A he… Hmm?” Elena mused to herself. “That means he knows them before he kills them.” She said.
“I don’t get you my dear,” King Eremus said from the sound of his voice you will know he is confused.
“It is a puzzle dad which I am not yet sure, but, it’s either he monitored all their movements before killing them or becomes friends with them and makes sure they have trust in him before he carries out his killings,” Elena said, trying to believe her words. “I haven’t even thought of that before, the assassin cannot be a lady because it only targets Princesses and not Princes.” She added.
“I think you are right on that one, I will try to contact the victims he had visited to find out more about the Princesses before they met their untimely death.” King Eremus said agreeing with his daughter. “I am happy I spoke to you Elena. How are you and your sister and I hope you both are adapting to your new environment?” He asked.
“We just got here dad so we don’t know yet until we explore and stay a few days before deciding.” Elena answered. “Seriously speaking dad, I don’t like this place one bit.” She added.
“I know you miss home Elena but try to understand the situation at hand, the assassin is very dangerous and seem to be moving in darkness which reminds me, always put your light on every night, tell your sister to put her light her every night in case he changes his mind about going for my second daughter,” King Eremus said.
“Will tell her.”
“I have to go now, send Eva my kisses and hugs. Love you both,” King Eremus said and hung up the call.
She turned away from the window and nearly dropped the phone from her hand to the floor.
Standing in a corner of the room was her aunty.
“When did you get in here without me noticing?” Elena asked, shocked to her bones.
How did she enter without making a noise? Is this some sort of magic or what?
“Few minutes ago after waking up your sister. I walked into your room but you were too busy talking to your father.” Jess answered with a shrug. “Follow me now.” She added and left the room.
“Yes auntie.” Elena said following her.
Once she entered the sitting room, she saw Eva seated and was going through her phone.
“Please sit,” Jess said to Elena who sat down as instructed and she took her seat opposite the two sisters. “Drop your phone Eva.”
Eva kept her phone beside her giving Jess her full attention.
“I would like to welcome you once again to my home.” Jess began. “Why I called you here is to tell you both you will be starting a new school from tomorrow, I have gone to the school early this morning to register you both.” She added. “Elena, your father told me everything so don’t worry about which class you will be.”
“Thank you auntie,” Elena and Eva said together.
“You are welcome, let me add again that you both will be doing all the house chores in my house until you leave. Elena since you are the eldest you will be cooking and Eva will be watching you cook. This is not your Palace where you wait for your servants to do everything for you.” Jess told them.
Eva groaned and nodded her head.
“Is that all auntie?” Eva asked.
“For now, yes.” Jess replied.
“Okay,” Eva said standing up and leaving the sitting room to her room.
Elena got up to leave as well when the voice of her aunt stopped her.
“Oh and Elena least I forget, you look a lot like your mother.”
Stopping in her tracks, she faces the old lady. “What did you say? You know my mother?” She asked in shock.
Jess laughed at her silly questions. “Why won’t I know my own sister,” Jess said with a smile.
Elena’s shock state didn’t make her see the white shimmering light which shone briefly in Jess’s eyes.
