Betrayal At The Altar

Chapter 49

Chapter 49

The waiter had a standard smile on his face, but what he said was enough to make Jane fly into a rage. “Yes, you three have been blacklisted by our restaurant. From now on, ‘Lansen Restaurant‘ will never admit you!”

Jane blushed with anger. Pointing at the waiter, she said, “I will complain about you!”

“Please do as you wish.” The waiter still wore a standard smile and answered without any fear. It seemed that he was accustomed to such a situation.

Knowing that her threat hadn’t worked, Jane gnashed her teeth angrily and stared at the waiter in front of her. Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.

The waiter’s indifferent attitude and gestures attracted Louis’s attention.

“There are more than a hundred western–style and fench–style restaurants in Seaxas, of which Lansen Restaurant is the most famous. The guests come in an endless stream. The fact that this restaurant has been famous in Seaxas for more than ten years is enough to prove that the boss of this restaurant has abundant money and mysterious political background,” he thought.

Thinking about this, Louis restrained his anger. But his eyebrows still frowned with irritation. “We didn’t violate any of the rules of your restaurant. I wonder why you blacklisted me?” he asked.

“Our boss said that if his wife sees you, she would be in a bad mood,” the waiter answered.

Louis was speechless.

Olivia and Jane were even more confused.

Olivia thought, “When did we offend the boss’s wife?

“So far, we don’t even know who the boss is!”

Olivia restrained the feeling of being humiliated and pretended to be gentle and decent. “I wonder if it is convenient for you to tell me your proprietress’s name,” she asked.

“No way am I going to tell you!” said the waiter plausibly. Then he stepped back and shut the door with a bang,

To their surprise, they were driven out by a waiter directly. So it was inevitable that they were embarrassed, especially Olivia.

She was a famous star in showbiz, after all. But now she was driven out by the waiter. She was undoubtedly embarrassed and angry. But as a public figure, she had to endure it.

Just as they were about to turn around and leave, the door behind them. was suddenly pushed open. The waiter came out with a sign that said, “Bitches and Dogs Are Not Allowed In.”

Seeing this, they immediately got as mad as a wet hen. “It was a blatant shame! they thought.

Jane became furious and was about to argue with the waiter. But Louis stopped her and shouted coldly. “Do you want to be more embarrassed? If you want to make trouble again, go back!”

“I… Jane was annoyed and felt aggrieved. She stood there and stamped her feet with anger. Then she turned around angrily and left.

Olivia was a public figure, after all. She thought. “If this matter attracts the paparazzi, it will be more than worth the loss.” So she said softly, “Louis. I think there should be some misunderstanding. Why don’t we go to the restaurant over there?”

“Don’t feel wronged,” said Louis as he looked at Olivia with love and pity.

When they turned around and left. Olivia’s eyes burned with imperceptible anger, and she glanced at Rachel’s figure angrily.

Rachel, who had already entered the restaurant, knew nothing about what had happened outside.

She rushed into the restaurant directly and didn’t react until a waiter came up and asked her which room she had reserved.

“Oh my god! I was so angry that I rushed into the restaurant directly!” Rachel thought.

“Sorry, I have the wrong place,” Rachel smiled awkwardly and said.

When she turned around, she bumped into a massive bunch of roses.

Rachel was stunned for a moment and took a step back subconsciously.

“Pretty Miss, may I have the honor to have dinner with you?” asked the man in a low voice, which fascinated the others.
