BEST FRIEND’S BROTHER

“Now you touch…”

He brought her hand down to cover his shaft. Sasha’s eyes grew big and round, glued to his as she allowed herself to feel and explore as he had done. It was his turn to shift restlessly, color slashing his cheeks as she moved her hand, tightened her grip, feeling the satin smooth skin slip up and down over the steel-hard core. She could feel their heartbeats thudding slowly and heavily.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

When he looked down at her with tense jaw and fever-bright eyes she took her hand away, and shifted herself so that she lay under him. She spread her legs, opening herself up to his welcome heat and heaviness.

“Now…I want you…” She reached up and pressed a hot kiss to his mouth, her tongue slipping inside with seductive innocence for a moment before she said, “…inside me.”

Kaleb had lost all sense of time and place. At the last second before desire sucked him under completely he reached for protection and smoothed it on with all the finesse of a novice. This scene was so reminiscent of a dream he hadn’t even acknowledged. He could feel Sasha move beneath him. Her hair was spread in a golden halo around her head, and her eyes, like two huge pools of blue, looked up at him. Her legs parted a fraction more, and because it was the most necessary thing in the world he slid his erection, which felt engorged to the point of pain, into her silken heat, and died a small death of pleasure at the exquisite sensation.

He felt her move her hips, drawing him deeper. Exerting extreme control, he slowly started to thrust in and out. His eyes were locked on hers. Twin flags of color stained her cheeks, her lips were plump and red…her teeth bit them as she fought to keep her moans back. It was all Kaleb could do not to explode there and then. Seeing her like this was a fulfillment of something he’d so long suppressed.

Their skin was slick with sweat, their heartbeats no longer slow and heavy but frantic. The tempo increased. Kaleb could feel Sasha’s legs wrap around him, urging him even deeper, harder. The pinnacle came in a blaze of white light and pleasure so intense they both stopped breathing for a long moment, hung suspended in time. And then came the fall, tumbling down and down all the way, their bodies releasing and pulsing for an age as Sasha accepted Kaleb’s weight onto her, wrapped legs and arms around him even tighter, binding him to her.

Kaleb rested on his side, watching her sleep-half impatient, half fascinated-until she finally stirred. Her gaze skittered away from his as she sat up. For the first time in his life he was unsure how to handle the after sex part.

“Sorry I slept off,” Sasha said. She slithered from the bed and swiftly reached for the robe lying across the nearby chair. “I had an amazing time, Kaleb. Thank you.”

Amazing? She had no idea what amazing was. But he supposed it was better than her telling him it had been ‘fine’.

“No regrets?” He pushed for more than this awkward politeness from her.

“I don’t think it would be right to regret something that felt that good.” She replied, but Kaleb felt like there was something she wasn’t saying. She belted her robe tightly around her waist, hiding her perfection from him again.

“You don’t have to be like that, Sasha,” he said huskily, rubbing a sore spot he felt in his chest.

Ordinarily he’d be relieved to have a lover leave him with such little fuss, but he wanted Sasha to stay… Even if it was only for a little while. But every ounce of her shy reserve had returned.

“I know…but I…um…I” She drew breath. “I need to use the bathroom” She silently sped from the room-as if she daren’t leave a mark or a sound.

And he just let her. He stared into the blank space. Breaking through her shell had been difficult and now it had just bounced back into place. Maybe she needed some time alone to process what had happened? Honestly, maybe he did too. Maybe letting her be for now might mean she’d be comfortable coming back soon.

He rubbed his chest again as the reality of the situation hit hard. His sexual attraction to her hadn’t been assuaged but exacerbated. Worse was this burgeoning curiosity about everything else about her. He wanted to understand it all. And the emptiness of her side of the bed hurt. Suddenly he hated that she’d walked out on him. That he’d made it so easy for her to be able to. He should have stopped her.

He should have seduced her. He should have stripped back her protective prickles again and found that hot, sweet pleasure with her.

But it didn’t matter, he told himself. He’d get over it. He always did…not that he ever needed to. He rose up and gathered up his clothes. By the time he was done getting dressed, she had returned into the room.

Sasha could hardly bring herself to look at him; all she could think of was what they’d done. How good he’d made her feel. “I guess you should leave now” she said, “I remember you said you had a flight to catch”

Kaleb sent her a wicked double-dimpled look. “Is that your way of telling me to leave your apartment?” he asked, “How very polite of you Sasha” he said, hating the way her rejection made him feel and hating the fact that he felt that way even more

“I… No” Sasha replied, still avoiding his gaze. “I just… You.. You said you had to leave very early. I Just wanted…” She couldn’t stop stammering.

His stance was strong, legs planted wide, face implacable. “You can stop with the regret or whatever it is you’re thinking or feeling. It already happened. We can’t go back now. You can’t deny that you want me. You could have sent back the flowers I sent you, or thrown them out.” He flung out a hand. “But you didn’t. You could have refused to let me come into your house tonight, but you didn’t.”
