Alpha King’s pregnant Ex-Luna

The meal was passable, with the exception of Nelly absentmindedly consuming her food.

After the meal, Zachary accompanied Donna for a short while, while Alpha Wade observed them happily from the sidelines.

Tony and Ben could perceive the situation, but Nelly, caught up in her own scheme, remained oblivious.

Sometimes Tony was relieved that his mother lacked skill in matters of romance. Otherwise, she would be greatly distressed by this.

Around nine in the evening, Zachary announced his departure.

“It’s getting late, Mr. Jackson. I should be on my way now. I’ll come visit again another day,” Zachary promised.

Alpha Wade stood and replied, “Very well. You are welcome to visit us anytime, Zach.”

“Alright.”

Alpha Wade furrowed his brow upon noticing Nelly deeply lost in thought. “Nelly, you should walk Zach back.”

Nelly snapped out of her reverie and nodded. “Okay.”

Zachary quickly refused, “There’s no need. Nelly’s ankle is still swollen. I can manage on my own.”

Alpha Wade dismissed his concern. “It’s fine. If she can still go to work like this, she can escort you out.”

Nelly was left speechless as she stared at her grandfather. What could Grandpa possibly be thinking?

Zachary wasn’t sure what to say.

“I, too, can accompany Mr. Zach,” Donna interjected as she stepped forward. Alpha Wade grabbed her by the collar and halted her. “It’s time for you to sleep.”

“Gramps,” she pouted.

“Behave, Donna.”

It was quite evident that Alpha Wade was trying to bring Nelly and Zachary together.

Zachary perceived this, and though he simply smiled, he did not reject the offer again. At least I know Alpha Wade is on my side. I am getting closer to victory.

“I shall take my leave now, Mr. Jackson.”

“Very well, take care,” Alpha Wade bid him farewell at the elevator entrance.

Inside the elevator, Nelly and Zachary stood side by side.

“Did I upset you with what I said?” Zachary inquired.

Nelly glanced at him. “What?”

“The suggestion of marriage.”

She nodded and replied, “Ah, that. Not at all. I am simply contemplating the possibilities.”

“You are considering it?” He was taken aback.

Nelly smiled. Just then, the elevator doors opened. She exited first, with Zachary trailing behind her.

While standing in front of the car, she looked at him. “I know you only have my best interests at heart. So first and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for keeping the secret from Alpha Kilian. Secondly, I appreciate your suggestion.”

“So you understand what I am implying?” he asked.

She nodded. “Of course. Do not worry, I will give it careful consideration.”

Zachary was not entirely convinced that she truly understood.

However, he did not wish to appear too eager, so he said, “Very well then. If you need any assistance, do not hesitate to let me know.”

Nelly nodded. “Okay, thank you.”Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

He silently observed her for a moment before speaking again. “I shall take my leave now.”

“Take care of yourself.”

Zachary nodded and entered his car. Before driving off, he turned to look at Nelly one last time. “What I truly meant is that if you require any help, you may seek my assistance first.”

Nelly was slightly taken aback by this, but before she could respond, he departed.

Once the car disappeared from her sight, a smile graced her face. She turned around and prepared to leave. Just as she was about to do so, she felt as though someone was watching her from a distance.

When she peered in that direction, there was nothing there.

She stared for a long while, ensuring that no one was truly present before finally leaving.

Back at the house, Donna was engaged in an argument with Alpha Wade.

“You were far too obvious, Gramps,” Donna remarked.

“If you could discern my intentions, why did you attempt to sabotage it?” Alpha Wade retorted.

“You need to see if Mommy is willing to go along with it or not.”

“So, you like Zach a lot,” Alpha Wade teased.

“I do, b-but…” Donna struggled to articulate her thoughts.

“But what?”

She didn’t know what to say.

Nelly reentered the house and noticed the intense gaze between the two. “What’s wrong?”

Donna and Alpha Wade remained silent.

Nelly disregarded them and prepared to retreat to her room.

It was then that Alpha Wade asked, “What do you think of Zachary, Nelly?”

“In what regard?”

“His appearance and personality.”

Nelly nodded. “He looks handsome, and I believe he possesses a good personality as well.”

“So, you are satisfied with him?”

Only then did she realize what Alpha Wade was hinting at. “Your acting is far too transparent today, Grandpa.”

Alpha Wade hadn’t expected her to call him out. “You can tell?”

“Who wouldn’t? Just ask them.”

The triplets lined up and nodded in unison.

“Why then do you pretend not to comprehend?” Alpha Wade asked awkwardly.

“Because I do not wish to make things uncomfortable. What if he did not mean it that way?”

“I can see that he is interested in you,” Alpha Wade insisted. “As someone who has treaded that path before, I can discern it.”

Nelly took a deep breath. “You said the same thing before.”

“That is because Ke…” Alpha Wade stopped himself from uttering any more and turned to the triplets. “That is in the past. My vision has become much sharper now.”

Although he changed his words, the triplets still grasped his intended meaning, though they feigned ignorance.

Nelly didn’t mind the children being aware, but out of respect for Alpha Wade’s wishes, she decided to withhold her thoughts.

“Alright, Grandpa. I understand what you are implying. I will contemplate it, do not worry.”

Alpha Wade’s eyes gleamed upon hearing this. “Truly?”

“Mm-hmm.” She nodded. “But he must also have feelings for me.”

Alpha Wade smiled then. “I promise you, he does reciprocate your feelings.”

“Please do not interfere in our affair, alright?”

“I promise I will not go too far.”

“Very well, it’s getting late. I shall retire to my room now.”

“Alright, alright. Go ahead,” Alpha Wade conceded before turning to the triplets. “You three should also rest now; it is time to sleep.”

And so, they all retired to their respective rooms.

Inside their own room, Donna could contain her curiosity no longer. “Do you two think Nelly is serious?”

“I cannot say for certain if Nelly is serious or not, but I do believe Gramps is,” Ben chimed in.

“Gramps was about to mention Mr. Handsome’s name earlier, right?” Donna asked.

“I believe so,” Tony added.

“What did Mr. Handsome do to make Gramps so angry?” Donna wondered.

“Let’s not dwell on that too much. We have already discussed this. If Nelly wishes to be with someone, we should not impede her,” Ben reminded.

“I just feel like Mommy has other plans,” Tony speculated.
