Chapter 60 You Bring Bruce Here?
Chapter 60 You Bring Bruce Here?
Sally was tart, mean and snobbish. She also treated Judson badly. But it was before. Judson had Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
forgiven her. Therefore, she would be Judson’s mother-in-law.
Watching Judson’s mother-in-law stand there and pour him vine? Who dared? If Judson knew, he
would be in big trouble, so Bruce grabbed the bottle of wine…
“Well… Mr. Hill… You?” Sally felt puzzled about Bruce’s strange reaction. What she did was just
pouring wine for him. She didn’t put poison in it…
But Diana felt things were not as simple as it seemed. She frowned, thinking that Bruce’s attitude
towards Sally was quite strange. But she could not tell what on earth was that…
Bruce said hurriedly, “Sorry. I just got trunk after socializing with some clients from Y city. I cannot take
any wine now, or else, I will vomit up all I had just eaten. Let me pour you some…”
After saying this, Bruce picked up Sally’s glass and poured the vine for her…
Sally was surprised and flattered seeing a CEO like Bruce pour her wine, so she took the wine
immediately…
“Mr. Hill, I am Kieran Mills from NJHM Company…”
“Mr. Hill, I am Ken Song from Tinfun Company. I am the supplier of Ray Group…”
At this time, those entrepreneurs who sat with Old Lady Shaw before rushed to Bruce and drank a
toast to him respectfully. They were so humble.
Bruce just threw a quick glance and then ignored them. They didn’t complain even though Bruce didn’t
say anything to them. They just sat with Konhey who just came in another table.
Bruce didn’t pay any attention to those people. Seeing Old Lady Shaw and other seniors of Shaw
Family came, Bruce stood up and said to Diana, “I am looking forward to working with you. But I have
other things now, so excuse me…”
Diana also stood up and said to Bruce with a perfect smile, “Thank you for your trust. I will try my
best…”
Bruce gave Diana a smile and then turned away. He did not even talk to Old Lady Shaw and her
heeler…
Old Lady Shaw walked to Diana’s side and watched Bruce leaving, with much regret. She wanted to
say something, but finally refrained herself because she felt embarrassed to do so.
After Bruce left the hotel, Old Lady Shaw turned to Diana and asked, “You know Mr. Hill from Ray
Group?”
Diana nodded, “Yes. We were partners before…”
Old Lady Shaw said quickly, “Oh, I knew. You said you wanted to go back to work? How about the chief
director? I just remember there is a vacancy in our company.”
Sally sneered before Diana answered, “No need. Thanks. How dare us to accept your kindness? I am
afraid the chief director is beyond Diana’s ability…”
Sally felt quite happy after venting her grievance.
It was obvious that even the chief director offered by Shaw Family cannot compared to the position of
designer in Ray Group.
Old Lady Shaw kept a straight face and glared at Sally with displeasure, saying “I am not speaking to
you. Why do you butt in?”
And she turned to Diana,“What do you think, sweetie?”
Diana frowned, saying, “I am sorry, grandma. I am not planning going back. I don’t want other people to
think I am up to something…
Diana also felt angry after hearing what Lennox said.
Feeling embarrassed, Old Lady Shaw remained silence. Knowing Diana was angry, she managed a
smile and then went back to her seat.
Diana took out her phone and called Judson, telling him that they were about to leave.
…
Judson hang up and went to drive his car. He just pulled his car right at the front of the hotel…
Robbie was surprised to see Judson’s car. He only owned a second-handed BMW. But Judson’s car
looked quite new and much better than his.
After Judson got out of his car, Robbie went to him and asked, with his mouth opening wide, “Is this
your car?”
Judson sneered, “You mean this car? Not mine. I am just a live-in son-in law. Where did I get money?”
Robbie was dumbfounded. If Judson said this car was his own, he would not believe it. But when
Judson said with disdain, somehow, he believed that car was Judson’s because Judson sounded like
taunting him…
When he was about to say something, Diana and Sally came out.
Diana went up to Judson and looked at him doubtfully. Old Lady Shaw held a birthday party here, and
Bruce coincidently came here to talk business, and then coincidently met her. Afterwards, Bruce gave
her an offer without hesitation. Diana felt all these were not coincidence at all.
If they were not coincidence, there was only one explanation. Judson did all these to help her.
Diana asked with much doubt, “You bring Bruce here?”
Judson pretended to be puzzled and then said, “Bruce? Is he here? I didn’t see him…”
Diana looked at Judson carefully. But she just could not get any information from him…
