Chapter 503
Chapter 503
On the other side, after Liam and Cynthia concluded their wedding, they decided to avoid any interruptions to their private time and flew directly to their honeymoon destination. Anthony and Isabella also left the venue, returning home to enjoy their own wedding night in advance,
At the wedding venue, Jasmine and David struggled to keep up with the festivities, leaving the guests in the care of Hallet and Jonathan. Hallet actually yearned for official recognition, but Queena was currently focused on her career, forcing him to suppress his desires.
Jonathan was facing the same dilemma. His primary goal was to quickly marry Reina, but Omar didn’t make approval. After much effort, he had finally persuaded Omar to allow them to date, but now was not the time to bring up marriage. Therefore, he reluctantly assisted Liam in entertaining the guests.
Liam and Cynthia traveled to the Antarctic and Arctic, witnessing penguins and the Northern Lights. They visited various iconic locations around the world. At each stop, Liam diligently played the role of a photographer, capturing Cynthia with the beautiful scenery.
After a wild half–month abroad, just as Ziv felt extremely exhausted, Liam and Cynthia finally returned home. They arrived late at night and went to rest at Regalian Garden. The wedding decorations were still adorning the walls inside.
Cynthia gently touched the decorations with her hand, a sweet smile on her face as she reminisced about their experiences in the past few days. She felt like it was all a dream. She was truly happy.
As Liam finished arranging their luggage, he approached her and softly embraced her from behind, burying his head in the crook of her neck, and taking a deep breath. “When will you go to sleep?” he murmured.
“I can’t sleep. Looking at these decorations, it feels like a dream to me,” Cynthia replied, leaning into him, her face displaying
contentment.
At her words, Liam chuckled lowly. Then, in a suggestive tone near her ear, he said, “Since you can’t sleep, why don’t we-” Liam didn’t finish his sentence verbally, instead opting to let his actions speak for him.
Cynthia felt breathless under his touch. During this half month honeymoon, this man seemed like a hungry wolf, insatiable. As the days passed, Cynthia felt sore on her waist.
She gently pushed against his chest, softly protesting, “My back hurts.”
“Let me massage it for you, honey.” His hand lingered on her waist, the pressure both teasing and genuine.
Cynthia’s face grew redder, finding it hard to keep up with her breath. As her legs weakened, the man lifted her up and swiftly carried her upstairs to the bedroom.
After freshening up in the bathroom, they moved to the bed. Just as their bodies were about to come together, Cynthia abruptly bent over, covering her mouth as she hurried to the toilet. Liam heard the sound of retching from the bathroom.
Liam quickly followed, supporting her back and concern etched on his face. “Cynthia, what’s wrong? Did you eat something bad?”
After a moment of relief from her queasiness, Cynthia raised her head. With a shy smile on her face, she said, “I didn’t eat anything bad.”
“Then why are you feeling sick? Should we go to the hospital for a check–up?” Liam, worried, reached for his phone.
Cynthia hurriedly stopped him, hinting with a glance at her stomach. “It’s because there’s something extra in my belly.”
“Something extra?” These words alarmed Liam, thinking Cynthia was unwell, his expression turning serious.

When did this happen? Why didn’t you tell me? Are you in pain? No, I’ll take you to the hospital”
Liam’s usually sharp mind seemed slow to catch up now. To case his worry, Cynthia softly explained, “I’m pregnant.”
In recent days, Cynthia had been feeling discomfort in her waist originally attributing it to the lack of restraint from her partner. However, this morning she suddenly remembered her period was over ten days late. A thought began to form in her mind, confirmed when she had the check. She was indeed in pregnancy
Cynthia had planned on finding the right moment to tell Liam, but seeing him shocked by her morning sickness, she had to reveal the news immediately.
At that moment, Liam was still lost in astonishment. His gaze fixed on Cynthia’s belly, and it took him quite some time to find his voice. “Cynthia, really? Are you pregnant?”
“Yes,” Cynthia said and nodded.
The next moment, Liam excitedly lifted Cynthia, spinning around uncontrollably. “I’m going to be a dad, I’m really going to be a dad!”
Though Cynthia felt dizzy from the swirling motion, she let Liam continue. Eventually, Liam regained his composure, carefully placing Cynthia back on the bed. He then knelt beside the bed, scrutinizing Cynthia’s belly. “What do you think he or she looks like? Is it a boy or girl?”
“I was just pregnant. How can you tell?” Cynthia couldn’t help but chuckle at Liam’s earnestness. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Furrowing his brow in thought for a moment, Liam then said wistfully, “I hope it’s a girl, as beautiful as you, so I can protect both of you.”
“And if it’s a boy?” “Then we’ll protect you together.” Liam’s sincerity was palpable, and Cynthia couldn’t help but chuckled at his earnestness.
Knowing Cynthia was pregnant, Liam, who was initially impulsive, now handled Cynthia delicately, treating her like a fragile being. When it was time to sleep, he was so cautious he barely moved, speaking softly, afraid to disturb the child inside her.
Though both were tired that day, Cynthia soon fell asleep, but Liam remained awake. Bathed in the moonlight streaming through the window, he stared at her sleeping face for a long time. As the sky hinted at the approaching dawn, Liam finally shifted his focus.
Turning on the light, he took out his phone, opened the camera, and leaned in to kiss Cynthia who was still sleeping, capturing the moment with a photo. He shared it online with an accompanying
caption, [My love and my baby, I love you.]
Even though it was early morning, his friends quickly responded. Some were puzzled with question marks. Others recognized the message behind it and offered congratulations. Eventually, everyone figured it out, and the comments were all good wishes.
Liam, someone who usually didn’t enjoy posting on social media, now scrolled through the comments on his phone one by one, his smile wearing on his face. Meanwhile, in her slumber, Cynthia turned over, snuggling into Liam’s embrace.
She found a comfortable position in his arms, a contented smile curving her lips, before drifting back into dreams. The morning sunlight slowly crept through the window, casting a warm glow on this blissful couple asleep in bed.
