Chapter 49 - The Sand, The Sea, You And Me

Chapter 49 - The Sand, The Sea, You And Me

I couldn't really sleep still thinking about everything. Her words kept ringing in my head. What if she

was on to something? What would I actually lose if I listened to what she had to say? Nothing I guess!

I took my jacket and went out sitting on the cool sand. I could clear my head and try to be rational.

It was a really calm night.

The majestic deep blue ocean in front of me with little white foam swaying lightly. The first thing to hit

my nose was the salty air. I was really relaxed. A warm breeze swirled around me sending my hair in all

different directions.

Right here, I didn't have to pretend to be anyone else. I closed my eyes engulfing the calm of the sea,

all the little sounds.

"What are you doing out here?" I felt his hand on my back before I heard him. Is sighed opening my

eyes to see a pair of green eyes that shone under the moonlight.

I shrugged pulling him down to sit with me. The warmth of his body made me press closer to him. I

wished we could stay like that forever.

"I heard you leave so I brought this," He grinned showing me the acoustic he had beside him. I

repositioned myself telling him to go on.

"I wrote you this," He barely whispered before his skilled fingers brushed the strings. I grinned.

When I am broken and lying on the ground

Will you come to where I am found?

Build me up again

Piece by piece

Blow your soul into me

Then set me free

When you left me, I got lost

Will you be back for me, or not?

I'm becoming weaker

I'm falling down

Swim the sea for me

Or I'll drown Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

When the days shifted with the nights

I got the visions of what was right

That little voice is calling

Telling me to come back

You are the one to cure me

Or my heart will crack

Deep in my heart

A great pain reside

I can't get what happened

Out of my mind

Just sing me a lullaby

It'll be my antidote

You don't have to rush it

Just take it so slow

When I am broken and lying on the ground

Will you come to where I am found?

Build me up again

Piece by piece

Blow your soul into me

Cause you've got the key

You've got the key

You've got that key

To set me free

He slid it down back beside him. I could feel my eyes tearing up. I grinned at him, this... what we had, it

was real. It was strong.

He reached his hand for me. "Shana," Damn the nickname.

"Warning, here comes a cheesy line," I giggled moving closer to him.

"I'm sorry," I almost didn't hear him. But then my heart broke for him. Now was the time to be happy...

and together.

I'd always been so afraid to be in love to be happy. But now, I knew it couldn't be taken away.

Now, it was time for some fun!

The sea softly lapping by the shore... it was calling me to it...

No thinking, it just happened. I ran and jumped into the water. A few second I surfaced giggling like a

toddler while Ron stood by the shore shaking his head.

"Come on," I screamed for him.

He shook his head. "No way, you crazy little human." I smirked at his words. He didn't want to get in, he

got another thing coming.

I slowly got out giving him sad puppy eyes. He took a step back when my face broke into a grin. And

then another one with every step of mine. "I just want a hug, I'm so cold," I pouted.

He looked even more worried then broke into running. I couldn't stop the shriek of laughter that came

after I started chasing him down.

He fell to the sand looking like a starfish. I jumped on top of him making him groan. My hand found its

way to his soft curls. And then slower than Flash from Zootopia, I leaned down to kiss him. First his lips

then his jaw and down to his neck in a slow agonizing motion.

Just when I felt he was getting into it with his hands snaking around my waist, his eyes closed and his

mouth almost parted in pants, I stood up leaving him in a daze. "You coming or what?" I asked

innocently walking back to the house.

It took him a few moments but then he was chasing me down into the house.

I squealed as he carried me over his shoulders. "I'm not a sack of potatoes, you idiot." I giggled making

him chuckle.

"You're anything but," I heard him say. The house looked different upside down, I laughed lightly.

"Genius, you just passed my door," I lightly punched his back.

"You're coming with me," He said in a low voice sending butterflies through my stomach.

Just as he was about to open the door, I heard someone clearing their throat. Let me take a wild

guess... Tommy.

"Keep the door opened 3 inches kids," He said. Yup, he lived to torment me! I almost facepalmed. But

then Ron chuckled entering the room and pushing the door closed with his leg.

"Can you put me down now," I asked lightly wiggling out of his grasp.

And just like that he threw me on bed like a basket ball into the hoop making me shriek then giggle.

"Not what I had in mind but okay!"

"Now, I need some cuddling," He smirked after taking off his shirt and slipping under the covers. I

laughed shaking my head in amusement. "I forgot my teddy bear." He pouted.
