A Girl’s Diary

Chapter 42 - What? Why? How?

Chapter 42 - What? Why? How?

Days went and came.

What was I doing exactly?

Let me tell you then.

One, I overslept... for like seventeen hours daily.

Two, I had to keep up with school so that I could graduate.

And did I mention that they accepted me into the cheerleaders team! Yay me, even though I couldn't

attend practice until I got better.

Three, I ate.

Four... I couldn't come up with more sorry!

Oh, wait, I took painkillers too!

It was all a blur but I was becoming better. I could walk using canes at first then without them. My hand

was getting better.

Frankly, everything was better... except for the fact that Ron didn't visit even once.

Maybe he had his reasons I kept telling myself... but there was a part of me that couldn't forget what

happened.

Did I forget to mention my appointment at the hospital?!

I'd remember if I mentioned something that stupid, I promise!

Let me tell you that Tommy and I were almost kicked out of the hospital. It all started with me saying

'This feels like a movie.' It was one simple sentence. Yet, the moment I said it, Tommy turned the

situation to a very very very, throw a few more very, dramatic movie.

He kept running with the wheelchair all over the halls and when we approached patients' rooms he ran

in slow motion. It was hilarious but I couldn't really giggle in a hospital!

When they were taking an x-ray to make sure I was a hundred percent healed, Tommy wanted to make

a peace sign in my x-ray. He said and I quote 'That would be a great selfie' Though I had no response

to that.

The few days before the concert were full of training. It had to be perfect. It had to be worth the wait.

However, Tommy had to come up with something to tell Sky since she was so excited that I was finally

agreeing to go to a concert. He was the one who agreed in the first place.

On the day of the concert, I was contemplating killing Tommy. When I asked him how would I go to the

concert as Elena yet sing as Cinnamon he just freaking shrugged.

I just lost it!

I was stressed enough and I needed to punch something. So, I simply put my self-defence courses to

good use and kicked him in the ribs making him wince in pain.

"Don't make me make this an even bigger crime scene," I warned.

He winced in pain but smirked nevertheless. "This room is practically always looking like a crime

scene, Twinkle. That's why your mom always tells you to clean it. That's why you always lose things.

That's why you always fall." I narrowed my eyes at him making him stop his rant. "Wait, I got an idea!"

He all but screamed. "My God, you're a genius!" What?! Did he finally go crazy? He swooped me into

his arms. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.

Yup, definitely crazy!

"What is it, you idiot?" I chuckled lightly.

He put me down. "I text you saying your house was robbed before your entrance and since Sky is...

nosy, there's no other way to say it sorry," He said making me double over in laughter. "She'll want to

know what's going on. You show her the text and leave." That was actually kinda smart! Chapeau! I

was about to praise him but then he had to make me swat his arm. "No need for applause, I know I'm

brilliant." Damn, that ego of his needed to be crushed and soon! "But seriously, what do you think?" He

asked sincerely.

"That's the best thing since sliced bread!" I answered. I bet you ten bucks he had no idea what I just

said.

He blinked. "What do you mean?" How did I know he wouldn't understand?!

"You're amazing, you idiot!" I smiled at him.

"You're such a nerd," He teased. "Imagine if everyone found out that this dork is actually Cinnamon."

He doubled over in laughter.

Why was he asking to be hit? Really!

Maybe this dork should kick him in his jewels and put some sense in his mind? Nah, he was still my

best friend... unfortunately!

The next day was so rushed in pretty much everything. I had to get ready as Elena and act excited

while preparing everything Cinnamon needs.

The thing that could make me balance my whole day was coffee. How so ever, I didn't find a drop at

home so I had to make a run to Starbucks which wasn't so ideal since I didn't like to drive before having

my coffee.

After having my coffee, I met Aurora who seemed informed on Tommy's plan. So, I had no reason to

worry really!

I spent some time with Aurora until it was nearly time for me to meet Sky.

Still no word from Ron. I was murdering him!

Now you could ask, why couldn't I just call him right? I mean it was the twenty-first century. Yeah no! I

wasn't breaking my bones then become the girl who calls her boyfriend begging him to check on her.

It was so weird when I got to where the concert was held. Being here and not backstage was alien.

People were huddled in groups whispering among themselves. Soon enough, I spotted the blue-haired

Asian.

I made my way through the crowds until I reached her only to find her talking among the normal group.

Everything was going smoothly but I noticed that Louis was so freakin' tense all the time. I tried asking

what was wrong with him but he got super cocky.

Totally my fault to make sure the prick was okay!

I moved on to converse with everyone like a normal teenager... I was getting tired of the constant

chatting in things I wasn't really interested in.

Ugh! Where was Tommy all this time. I waited for over thirty minutes before I got worried.

I was starting to think I had to kick Tommy. He was practically giving me a heart attack not sending the

bloody text.

But then out of nowhere, he came storming towards me. What the hell was happening?

"Elena, how dare you do that?" He growled loudly earning the attention of several people around us. I

looked at him confused when it clicked.

"Tommy, let's talk outside about this, okay?" I replied quietly.

"The hell is there to talk about?" He shouted even louder. "You're so dead!" As if on cue, several

security officers were surrounding us.

"You want to fight here?" I snapped back. "Then a fight is what you'll get!" I lunged at him and tackled

him to the ground. The security parted us taking us towards the backdoor.

I smirked at him the moment we were out. "Stupid!" I shook my head making him smirk back. "What

happened to the texting plan?" I asked raising a brow.

"I had an even more brilliant one." He shrugged.

"I'm out!" I announced getting sunglasses in case I pump into someone before I reach Aurora.

On my way, I checked my phone which Sky was blowing up. I skimmed over her texts and to sum up

her 47 texts, she was wondering how the hell did I end up fighting with my best friend then she was

asking where we both went after since she went out to look where we went. All in all, normal Sky

curiosity drama!

When I reached my room, Aurora was there glaring at me in a way that makes me really frightened.

She could be scary sometimes. She headed to the stage while I changed as fast as I could ever

change. When we were passing next to each other just before I ascended the stage, I heard her

whisper "We'll talk about this later."

I nearly rolled my eyes but held myself. At the rear of the crowd, I forgot every single problem. Feeling

the adrenaline pumping all over my body giving me a hyper feeling. But soon enough, it was time for

the concert to end.

Time to deal with life again, I thought to myself. There was still time to kill until the after-party. As I

entered my room, Aurora was there waiting for me.

I got comfy on a couch before she could start talking about all the things wrong in the world.

"Did you really think that Elena Whitte fighting with the son of Cody Baker was a good plan?" She

asked shooting daggers at me. Umm... no? But that was Tommy's idea! Before I could respond she

was back talking. "Is that really what you want the news to talk about instead of your concert?" Her

tone was getting snappy.

"No." I managed to get out, my phone started ringing but I ignored it; I had to deal with Aurora first. "But

first of all, that wasn't the plan and secondly, no one really knows us; we're not famous as much as our

parents are." I huffed.

"You better make up for it when you meet the journalists."

"What do want me to do?" I asked exasperated. My phone was still ringing nonstop... a few texts were

also sent. I moved to put it on silent, all that ringing was from Ron. So now he decided to make an

appearance!

"Tell them some big news. Maybe that you're dating," She suggested as if it wasn't a big deal.

The fuck?!
