Chapter 151: Where
-Elias' POV-
Rose's father had quite the reputation and one could tell instantly of his caliber.
Though I couldn't witness his true strength when at the manor.
His force and speed when training and whenever he would threaten me were always hints to such
power.
His blade must either be the sharpest in the world or the ease in his slashes must come from his
strength.
Just the sight made me wonder how Pete could defeat him.
Sure he was trained and his skills were for fast movements and bursts of power, but if Leon went all
out, Pete should have been the one to lose.
I guess since Leon was protecting his family and himself at the same time his mind wasn't fully focused
on battle.
Now that it's just him and he just needs to push through these forces and stay alive, he doesn't have to
hold back and can let loose more easily.
I don't understand why he had a smile on his face, I hated battle, it was annoying and to kill wasn't
something I was fond of.
But I guess this battle is to stop any more problems for us.
Leon was jumping and stabbing any individual who seemed like an easily accessible target.
Making his way swiftly in the walls of the castle.
I on the other hand wasn't as fast and when more enemy soldiers came to attack I would use
momentum and strength to propel my large sword at them.
They would either get injured or knocked away.
Once an opening was made I rushed forward.
We could see a large number of soldiers inside the walls.
Leon's men pushed them back and made it easy for us to reach the castle itself.
There were guards at every door and we did not know where the king was.
We decided to head for the throne room. A chunk of Leon's soldiers followed the two of us as we
headed that way.
Leon seemed to know the castle well, he must have visited before the king changed.
We were there and of course, guards came and tried attacking us.
After a few movements, they were taken care of. One of Leon's men tried opening the door but it was
locked, then some of his men rushed to bash the door down.
It was short work for them and we entered.
The group entered the room, hostile and wary of the surroundings, no man sat on the throne, though a
few cloaked gentlemen stood in front of it.
The one that was forefront looked aged and had a long beard.
A wrinkle of interest formed on Elias' forehead and he spoke.
Elias: "You're the man who summoned me and the other heroes, aren't you?"
The man spoke with a tone that was as if he was looked down on Elias.
Magician: "I am the one who performed the summoning ritual, but I don't remember summoning a
traitor."
Leon spoke with vigor, seemingly to invoke fear in them.
Leon: "Where is your king.?!"
Magician: "Oh, I'm not sure, he's somewhere. I can surely say that he's in this country, he might be
somewhere in the castle. That should be enough to go off of.. hmm."
His tone was pretentious and joke-like.
Leon dove forward and holding a knife to his throat, having him on the ground.
The image instantly reminded Elias of Leon lunging at him that day. Elias thought of it as Leon's special
move.
The other four cloaked men were setting up to back up their leader, but Leon's men punched and
stabbed the remaining ones.
Leon looked down with an expression one wouldn't wish to face and spoke
Leon: "I don't want to hear any stupidity from you any further, either tell me where your king is or
suffer..!"
His hand edged the blade to the point where blood could be seen. .
The old clocked gentleman just started laughing, he giggled and spit out loud chuckles. Leon took his
knife, stabbing his arm.
He looked toward one of the men and told him to finish the job in the worst way possible for the
magician. This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
Still, the magician laughed as the rest of us left.
We had no leads on where to go, luckily some more of Leon's men made it to us.
Leon: "Now that there's some more here a few of you go check the rooms on this level, we'll check the
bedrooms. If you find the king bring him to us alive."
Elias: "Before you go if you find a man and woman named Jessica and Dawson, alert them to where I
am."
They parted ways hopeful for the battle to be over soon.
